Pretty much the only full cafe here in the international terminal / A gates, but I’m so glad they’re here bc I didn’t get to stop by their main Fisherman’s Wharf location. The second I saw both soups being served in their sourdough bread bowl I knew it’d be right for me and it was. So soft and tasty all around. The main issue though is just how hectic it gets with picking up your order and hoping you got the right thing (as saw so many ppl say they didn’t get what they ordered). Random, but you can also pick up a bread teddy bear or turtle which is very unique for sure.

If there’s a French Dip on the menu, there’s a 99% chance I’m ordering it. This one was nothing short of perfection. The flavor combo was just the very best. The clam chowder was really good, but nothing to rant and rave about. All of it felt very overpriced, but the French Dip sure was good. $28 for French dip and a tiny cup of clam chowder.

Love the food here. This is the only full cafe at the A gates. Has a Pete’s coffee alongside all the Boudin Sourdough fare. This time I had the Tuna salad cold sandwich with multi-grain bread. Loved it!

Horrible store. No inventory management – out of ‘EVERYTHING’ 4 hours before closing. Could order them online (showing available!) but nothing they are willing to sell …. except the hundreds of items that they are super willing to sell you when you buy a sandwich or a soup? Want to buy one of the gazillion baguettes they have behind the counter? Tough luck … not for sale. And no, they couldn’t care less. Rude store manager. AVOID.

Visited Boudin Bakery on 06/22/2023 around 8pm. Very disappointed in the customer service. April was unhappy to give me a refund and was reluctant to do so and made it seem like it was a pain and not easy to do. Groaned, huffed and puffed, looked very annoyed. There was not enough staff to man the prep kitchen. I ordered a clam chowder bowl and somebody else took my order and I waited for 20 minutes to see when my order will be done to be picked up, by the time I found out the man took my order, I told April about it but she basically disregarded my concerns and looked very annoyed at me and did not offer to make me a new bowl and left the bowl that the other customer touched on the pickup table. It was just a very unpleasant and unsettling feeling which made my decision to ultimately not return in the future. Customer service def lacks in this department. Please re train staff on how to treat customers better and to move a little faster when making orders because they were working very slow which resulted in a long line backed up with orders awaiting to be made.

This is the place I go for a meal right before every single flight I have at SFO, whether it be lunch or dinner. Very nice, small atmosphere within the secured area that is perfect for tourists stopping for a layover wishing for a small taste of San Francisco. Close to basically all the gates with lots of moving walkway access. I love the bread bowl and clam chowder as usual (the other Boudin foods are just as nice as well, I’d also recommend literally any sandwich), but the atmosphere and perfect location within the airport makes this one of the best Boudin locations.

This is in Gate A in San Francisco Airport. Very Poor service from the coffee cashier. We asked her how to make payment credit card machine and she was very impatient and even groaned as if to say how stupid we were. Absolutely terrible. Food server was not much better either. They were trying to close up, the whole place was still full. They turned chairs upside-down to prevent people from sitting down. Rushing customers to finish ordering. They were closed by 10.40pm while the other few eateries were still open. Won’t recommend or visit again.

As airport food goes this is pretty good. I enjoyed my margarita pizza. The service was good. Three pizza was made fast and well. I’m comfortably full now ready for my long flight and now I can avoid the plane food.

Staying a short time in San Francisco, I missed the chance to try their famous seafood chowder bowl at the Fisherman’s Wharf outlet. Early flight out of SFO, I was glad to see they had an outlet and managed to try it. Yup, it was delicious.. the sour dough compliments the creamy chowder. They also sell other dishes and souvenirs, even canned chowder!
