Everything was fantastic. Photos and videos here of some things we ordered. Especially great was the trout, very simple and without sauce (maybe it could have had a little bit). The bread was unique and great. Salad Lyonnaise was perfect with thick bacon. Trout very flavorful. Deviled eggs were also great. Escargot was served with puff pastry on top, also exceptional.

I don’t really like hearing Drake played at a restaurant this good. It’s distracting and not in the vibe.

The food at Bouchon Bistro Coral Gables didn’t really impress me; it feels like the quality has dropped compared to previous visits. The flavors were fine but lacked the spark and finesse they used to have. On the positive side, the service was impeccable, professional, friendly, and attentive and the atmosphere remains elegant and inviting. They offer valet parking, a fresh and well-presented raw bar, and an excellent, extensive wine list. However, I find it a bit overpriced for the current quality. Still a beautiful spot for a nice evening, but not quite the standout it once was.

This is a nice place to go have really good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. A few veriety of delicacies with so much flavour in them. Also, they have a vast variety of cocktails in their digital cocktail menu that you can try along the entire dinner. The staff is so knowledgeable of the menu and will recommend you accordingly. Paid parking nearby.

This restaurant is a gem. The service is excellent—attentive, warm, and perfectly paced. Every detail feels carefully thought out, from the bread and butter to the presentation of each plate.

I ordered the lamb, which was incredibly tender and full of flavor, perfectly balanced with the sauce and sides. My wife had the trout, beautifully cooked with a delicate texture and rich, buttery taste. Both dishes showed the kind of precision and quality you’d expect from a Thomas Keller restaurant.

The wine list is impressive, with a great selection by the glass and bottle that pairs beautifully with the menu. The ambiance is cozy and elegant, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a special occasion.

Highly recommend—it’s easily one of the best dining experiences in Coral Gables.

After hearing both strong praise and mixed opinions from others, I finally decided to try Bouchon in Coral Gables, and unfortunately it turned out to be a disappointing decision. My experience fell surprisingly short considering the reputation and image the restaurant presents. The evening began with a 27-dollar Lemon Drop that offered nothing distinctive in balance or flavor, which was unexpected for a place that aspires to a high culinary standard. The steak tartare arrived with a rubbery, overly chewy texture that made it difficult to enjoy, and even the bread service raised concerns, as the first serving was so hard it had to be replaced. The onion soup was the only dish that showed proper execution and depth. Once the main courses arrived, the inconsistencies became even more evident: the steak lacked flavor, character, and any indication of real quality, and it was served with french fries that were completely burnt and tasted exactly as overcooked as they looked. The salad, which they divided into two plates for us, was essentially spring mix with a small amount of goat cheese on top; the division of the dish was fine, but the salad itself had nothing noteworthy or memorable. Dessert was the most acceptable part of the evening, with profiteroles that were fine but not enough to elevate the overall experience. Although the service was excellent, attentive, professional and genuinely kind, and the ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and visually appealing, the quality of the dishes fell far below what the restaurant’s image suggests, leaving an overall impression that simply does not align with the expectations set by the establishment.

I had a wonderful dinner alone for a great price, thanks to Miami spice! There was complimentary bread, pistachios, and the hostess gave me a free egg/olive as well. I ordered one of the beers, escargot, steak frites, and crème caramel. Everything was delicious. The meat was cooked evenly from the first to the last cut. Overall a good time!

I came here with a friend. We decided to check out the Miami Spice menu.

We made reservations and we were sat immediately.

The waiter was very nice and helpful. They brought out a fresh loaf of baked bread and a side of warm pistachios.

We both decided on the escargot for our appetizers. They came out very hot. They had little flaky pastries on top of them. The escargot was very small. I’ve had them several times but they’ve never been this small before. But they were delicious.

As our main entree we both ordered the steak frites. The filet mignon was delicious with a tasty herbed butter on top. The fries were ok. They seemed like previously frozen fries. Not the high quality you would expect at a restaurant of this sort. But, the steak was perfect and that’s the most important thing.

For our desserts we both ordered the Bouchons au Chocolat. It was yummy, but honestly it just seemed like a cylinder shaped brownie. They were very small, which was perfect because by that point in the meal you’re already pretty full. A small amount of dessert is all you need, and even then, we didn’t finish them.

I usually like to have a glass of wine with dinner, but it was VERY expensive (even by the glass)! The Miami Spice menu was $60 per person and the wines were $30-45 per glass on average.

It was pretty busy on a Friday night and it got pretty loud. We could hear each other fine, but I got a call and couldn’t hear anything on the phone.

They charged us $7 for the flat water and added an 18% tip to the check. Our checks came to $80 pp. So if you’re going out to try the MS deal, plan on spending more than the $60 price. We parked in the garage next door and parking was $5. We tipped extra because our waiter was really nice.

Great French restaurant in Downtown Coral Gables. The food was good and even more value with the Taste the Gables menu! The best by far was the pastries though the steak and frites deserves a good place too. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Cheers to chef Gabe!

I’d tell you to come for the food, but the hostess and Maitre D are so good they might actually be wizards. Insanely good across the board with Ray manning the helm. Stomach and heart full. Keller is the culinary bard of our times

All of the food is exceptional. Caviar, French Onion Soup, Gem Salad, Creme Brule was beat ever. Truffle fries! The food is seriously as good as it gets. ( As good as the Napa, CA location).
