Stopped in the other day for a fish fry and ended up trying every fish on the menu! It was all OUTSTANDING, but I’d say the Walleye was my favorite overall! Portions are great, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is terrific!
DO NOT be afraid to try the new Cajun Catfish on the menu, it’s not too hot/spicy! I am from Mississippi, and I promise you that the catfish here is superior to any I’ve had from restaurants still open back home because it actually has FLAVOR, not heat or just unseasoned cornmeal.

Great little Wisconsin bar. We were out and about Price County doing some fishing. Me, a buddy and my 3year old daughter were looking for some lunch. We stopped in and asked the bar tender if they were serving food. “You betcha” she said. Saturday’s special was baby back ribs. We were offered a sample and boy were they delicious!!!! Sunday was Italian night according to the bartender/cook.
The food was delicious, she did a fantastic job of accommodating my daughter. She was very friendly and didn’t mind my daughter running around. When she noticed her fascination with the pool table the bartender made sure to let her know it was okay to roll the cue ball in the pocket. I thought that was a very kind gesture. Sometimes it can be tough with toddlers when there isn’t a McDonald’s around to get lunch and blow off some steam.

3/28/2024, This place just keeps surprising me with such great food! Friday fish fry is the best I have ever had in Wisconsin. Cajun style Walleye with homemade tartar sauce is truly perfect. On a return trip, my wife and I ordered some burgers, and the “Pub House Burger” was probably the best burger I have had in 10 years. The owners take pride in what they serve. Thank you – Thank you – Thank you.
Out with some buddy’s for a snowmobile ride. I have stopped several times in the past for Friday Fish Fry which has always been excellent. Today, the special was pulled pork on a ciabatta bun which we all ordered. I huge portion of meat vs. bun. It was a great value. Hard to believe how good it was from this little bar in the north woods. Thank you!

Stopped here looking for a quick drink and some food. I really was impressed by the size of the menu for a small town bar. Employee’s were really friendly and the food was excellent. Next time I stop I will definitely get the pizza. Great job!

Just picked up the beer battered cod dinner and the black and blue burger … the cod dinner was so delicious and crunchy and so good, the pieces are huge , great fish fry!! The burger was tasty as always, the buns are delicious and the burger is always made perfect !!

Great service candy and Jim are awesome if you want to go to a bar without the drama visit bottoms up pub and grub in westboro they have live music quite a bit and the patrons are quite friendly too
