Reviews
From the second you walk in, the vibe is unreal. The walls covered in bottle caps? Iconic. It’s one of those spots that instantly feels fun, loud (in a good way), and full of energy. You can tell it’s a place where memories get made — game nights, family dinners, random Tuesday eats that turn legendary.
Now let’s talk FOOD.
Absolutely ridiculous. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made with care. The flavors? On point. The portions? Massive. You’re not leaving hungry unless you try. It’s that perfect combo of comfort food and “wow this actually slaps.” Every bite felt like it was trying to win MVP.
And the service? Top tier. The staff was quick, friendly, and actually seemed happy to be there — which makes a huge difference. Drinks refilled fast, food came out smooth, and the whole experience just felt easy.
Bottle Cap Alley isn’t just a restaurant.
It’s a whole experience.
If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. And if you have been, you already know it’s built different.
Easy 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Might already be thinking about going back tonight
I normally do my reviews as “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly,” but on this visit I didn’t have any “ugly,” so today it’s “Location, Food & Prices, Service, and Extras.” Here we go…
Visited Bottlecap Alley Icehouse Grill (Crossroads, TX location) on Tuesday, 11/19/25 for lunch (10:45a–12:45p). First time here, and it was a great visit.
LOCATION:
There’s still a lot of Hwy 380 construction in the area, but it didn’t cause any issues getting in. It’s close to Walmart, though, so you do have to deal with some Walmart-exit traffic to get there. I was surprised with how easy parking was, even just before lunchtime. We were seated right away. We sat inside, but there appears to be a nice outdoor seating area as well. Our booth inside had great views of multiple big TVs, including a huge main screen—perfect for sports.
FOOD & PRICES:
Our waiter introduced himself and mentioned they serve Coke products (very helpful). I asked about strawberry lemonade, and even though it wasn’t a regular menu item, he made it for us—and it was excellent ($3.28 each).
The menu has lots of tempting choices. I ordered the regular Philly ($13.90) with pepper jack but no spicy toppings. Small miscommunication: I meant to substitute fried mushrooms instead of fries, but he added sautéed mushrooms (+$1) to the Philly. Not a big issue—just clarify substitutions.
My date ordered 12 bone-in wings with two flavors ($20.90). I’d normally expect something closer to $18–$18.50, but the price is still reasonable for a casual sports bar.
Food quality was good. If I’m being picky, the Philly felt a bit smaller than expected, and both it and the fries got saltier as I ate. Next time I’ll just ask for light salt. Either way, menu looked good with fair pricing.
SERVICE:
Service was great. Our waiter checked in often and made us another round of strawberry lemonades. They use portable card readers at the table, so checkout is quick—just know your tip amount beforehand. I left 20%, and the total for two came to just under $60.00, or $30.00 per adult person.
EXTRAS:
Men’s restroom was small but clean, with a large sink available outside for quick hand-washing if you don’t need full restroom facilities. There’s also a pool table in the back, and Bottlecap Alley’s website mentions they have multiple locations and a rewards program.
FINAL RATING:
Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5 if possible — minor salt + wing price without BOGO)
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Environment: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great first visit. Hope this review helps—please give it a thumbs up if it did, and wherever you go, have fun!
Food was amazing. Price was awesome for 2 people.
Best burger I have found in the year I’ve been in Texas. If we weren’t moving out of state it would be a regular!
