Went on Valentine’s Day. Ordered 2 orders of the hanger steak. My plate was full of oil and all I could taste was oil the rest of the evening. The photo is of my plate full of oil after I’d eaten everything.

The atmosphere was nice a cozy dim setting and the staff was accommodating. The food it self was well presented and tested great. The B+K burger was cooked to perfection and paired well with the Lagunita beer. It was super convenient to have the restaurant attached to the hotel and we got to redeem our free drink vouchers!

Two visits while staying at The Rose Hotel. Service and food was very good. The bar area has a nice quiet atmosphere. We had breakfast, both ordering vegetable omelettes. Pared with some great fried potatoes. Outstanding! Very good coffee and expresso as well. Excellent service.

What a cool place! The staff was really attentive and kind. I love all the little decor touches – the bottle chandelier, the cool chalk board art, the lovely bar. Awesome view. Can’t wait to return.

Stayed at the hotel and ate breakfast here a few times, plus snacks a couple of times. Staff was friendly; they were also offering a vegetarian ‘stack’ special for breakfast that was pretty amazing. If I go back to Portland I may go out of my way to eat here again, even if I don’t have an opportunity to stay at the hotel.

Excellent friendly service even late at night. The pork veggi soup hit the spot and comforting. The pineapple teriyaki chicken wings were juicy and had a nice balance of sweet and savory. The fries and brioche burger were very good. Apple crisp was a perfect way to end the evening.

The food and drinks were absolutely unbelievable and delicious! For food we split the Hanger Steak with a Caesar Salad and the Bacon Wrapped Dates. The best part – even better than the delicacies – was our server whose name I think was Mac, he was absolutely one of the most attentive and helpful and friendly and enjoyable and flattering and uplifting people we have ever met, and we will definitely be back to visit him! A+++++ Thank you again Mac, you are truly a class act

This was a good bar to sneak out to at your hotel (staypineapple hotel) in the evening. We took advantage of the complimentary drinks. Their portion of chicken wings was big. Waited for a bit to be served.
