We met some friends here for dinner and drinks and were really looking forward to a fun night out. The good news: we had a great time with our friends. Unfortunately, everything else was pretty disappointing.
Service was extremely slow from the start. It took a long time just to get our first round of drinks, and when we ordered another round our server stepped out for a cigarette before making them. Later we ordered again and waited about 20 minutes before the drinks finally showed up.
The food didn’t make up for it either. My fries were cold, my meal was cold overall, and one of our friend’s orders came out wrong. Nothing really stood out as being particularly good.
We made the best of it because we were with good company, but between the slow service and mediocre food, it’s not somewhere we’d rush back to.

The atmosphere was layed back. There were only a few patrons there tonight. The bartender was very personable. Overall a really awesome time.

Sarah is an amazing bartender!! She always acknowledges us when we walk in, even if it’s crazy busy. We never feel ignored. She always remembers what we drink, as well as what we order for food! Her crispy bacon is out of this world!
I’ve seen Sara come in early to her shift numerous times to help out her coworkers. She is an amazing demonstration of teamwork and love of her customers. ❤️

Really great bar and grill to visit. This place has a really comfortable atmosphere, very nice area that has several pool tables and the people working the bar have always been welcoming and engaging with friendly attitudes. I know sometimes walking into a new bar is a little uneasy , especially in small towns when you are going alone. This place never made me feel awkward or out of place walking in alone. I think that is a very rare experience. I appreciate every staff member there. Anytime I have time when I’m passing through stayton, I have made this one of my stops .

delicious food and good drinks. older female bartender has internalized racism she’s gotta work on. “you can say the n word in songs. why not? my kids are half black” you are literally fully white and it’s a slur rooted in 400 years of oppression. they literally used black people as furniture. they stuffed their hair into pillows and mattresses. maybe don’t butt into other people’s conversations with controversial opinions, it will knock how people see the business. first time here, last time here. that’s small town bars for you though.
