Bottega Gabriele is a little Italian style deli in the Little Italy part of Pioneer Square. It’s one of the last doors down closest to the waterfront, but parking here can be real rough sometimes. Inside, they have about half a dozen tables. Their menu is small, but they do it good. Their sandwiches are quite large, on a delicious focaccia bread. Prices seem high, but portion and quality is fantastic. The mortadella and the nduja sandwiches are by far the best. The staff here are so friendly and very quick on the orders. It gets very busy around lunch time, so try to get here before noon or after 1, but it’s a must go to if you like Italian sandwiches.

I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. They serve delicious sandwiches, and everything is very authentic and fresh. The people who work there are incredibly friendly and always do their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I can’t wait to come back very soon.

Each bite was flavorful, crisp and an experience that I didn’t want to end. Absolute unit of a sandwich 🙂
They only have one Vegetable focused option though.. (I had mines with cheese, which you could taste the quality, because I’m Vegetarian and not Vegan..) Though regardless, It was refreshing and clear that the owners care about ingredient quality because this sandwich despite the simple makeup was wonderful.
I do wish that there were more vegetable centered options, especially with such fresh and high quality ingredients , the combinations would surely be a hit.
The owners are also really friendly and willing to accommodate and answer any questions but haha I was too shy to converse beyond my comfort zone

Gabriele is most definitely a people person.

He is clearly passionate about his cuisine and it shows in both his welcoming demeanor and quality of food.

The sandwich was absolutely delicious (and affordable) and the canolli was the best I’ve had in the west coast.

Came in on a Tuesday to grab an authentic Italian sandwich. The guy behind the counter was very energetic and let me know about the “Mortadella Sandwich”. Let me try some fresh focaccia as well. Also gave me a nice piece of Parmesan to taste. 10/10

We got the Nduja and Tuna melt. Nduja was definitely my favorite, but both were delicious. The quality is amazing, and everything is freshly made. The owner also greeted us and talked with us for a little about the shop, the meats, etc. awesome spot. Make the time to check it out if you haven’t yet!

The guys working in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful, nice family vibe overall.
The sandwiches were so good we ordered two more to take home. The bread is crispy but super soft. Everything was really good. I’ll definitely be going again.

This sandwich shop is absolutely the best sandwich place I’ve ever been to. We had the Mortadella and the Pancetta sandwiches. The bread was soft on the inside but warmed and crisp on the outside. The ingredients were wonderfully combined. The meats and cheeses were delicious, the honey added just the right amount of sweetness and the arugula was the perfect green to balance everything. We shared a cannoli for desert and pastry was crisp with a creamy smooth lightly sweetened filling. Gabriele was warm, friendly and a delight to chat with and he sources all the ingredients with thoughtful intention. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you

What a gem in Pioneer Square! From the moment we walked into Bottega Gabrielle, we were welcomed with such warmth and enthusiasm. One of the owners, Gabrielle, yes, both owners are named Gabrielle, walked us through the entire shop, sharing all about the imported foods brought directly from Italy. His passion and love for food were absolutely contagious.

We ended up grabbing sandwiches and eating inside, and wow, they were phenomenal. We tried the Mortadella and the Nduja, and they are easily some of the best sandwiches I have had in Seattle. The Nduja was my favorite, layered with capocollo, salami, nduja, olive and tomato tapenade, artichokes, and fresh pecorino, every bite was packed with flavor. The Mortadella with ricotta, lemon zest, arugula, and hot Calabrian honey was the perfect balance, a little lighter but just as delicious.

Between the outstanding quality of the food and the genuine hospitality, this place truly stands out. We left feeling inspired and cannot wait to come back. Wishing Bottega Gabrielle nothing but the greatest success, it is so well deserved!

I was recommended to visit here for lunch since I work a few blocks away. I also have an extensive history with Italy and love their food so this was a nice surprise. Actual Italians, and real Italian ingredients! Service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the sandwich but I’m used to much spicier nduja. No complaints otherwise and will definitely revisit!
