Great brunch spot with clean food, it gets really busy during the weekend so reservations are recommended. I always order the carrot hummus- it’s longer on the menu but they do have it. The shakshuka is delicious and don’t sleep on the tin fish for a light snack. They have a seasonal menu so the menu doesn’t get boring. The patio is nice in the fall/winter but is infested with flies in the summer.

Loved my visit to Botanica! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and the vibes were great. The tomato & stone fruit panzanella, mushroom & brown rice, and the Botanica burger were all super fresh and delicious. Great wine selection too. I’ll definitely be back!

Loved our brunch at Botanica in Silver Lake! Such a relaxing, sweet vibe with excellent staff who are warm, accommodating, and quick. We sat on the dog friendly patio. We really enjoyed our cacao-date mocha and vanilla cardamom latte. Yummy zucchini bread and blueberry buckwheat scone. For the main course we really liked the Botanica diner plate and Turkish eggs. Recommend!

Delicious! Loved the hummus and our salad was simple but amazing. You know how food tastes better when it’s high quality and doesn’t need a ton of extra stuff to make it good? That’s Botanica!

Cute space, kind of place you want to show off to your friends. Highly recommend!

Great vibe and hospitality here. We liked everything we ordered with the exception of the burger. It was overcooked, crumbled apart and was very dry. Small portion too for the high price tag. Favorite dish was the carrot dip however one small piece of bread wasn’t enough to go with it. Also the dessert was a big miss. Very expensive small fruit tart that tasted store-bought.

I was visiting from Miami and this place might have been my favorite thing of the trip. The atmosphere and vibe were on top, the food perfect, and the workers as nice as they could be. I loved the little market they had too; the products seemed curated and the selection of wines really interesting. Looking forward to go back to LA just to visit this place again

Botanica is an absolute gem in the neighborhood, offering an exceptional experience in every way. From the moment you arrive, the quality shines through, and the staff are truly wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, especially when it comes to accommodating allergies.

The little wine store is a standout, showcasing a thoughtful selection that complements their focus on quality and health. The menu strikes a perfect balance of flavorful and genuinely health-conscious dishes. I’ve been consistently impressed by the incorporation of nutrient-rich ingredients like shiitake mushrooms, seeds, and beautifully crafted home-fermented vegetables. Plus, they don’t use seed oils, which is a rare and appreciated touch.

Their café is a delightful addition, where every detail is carefully considered. The daily pastries—both savory and sweet—are always a treat, and their herbal teas are beautifully crafted. The meze plate and the kimchi biscuit are personal favorites—absolutely delicious and not to be missed.

The atmosphere is equally special, whether you’re enjoying a meal inside, on the charming patio, or at the sidewalk seating. It’s a perfect spot for dinner, lunch, or simply to soak in the vibe while savoring their offerings. The music selection is always on point, adding to the overall experience.

Botanica also features a small épicerie stocked with high-quality olive oils, coffee beans, crackers, and all the essentials for a perfect aperitif with friends. It’s a thoughtfully curated space that’s hard to resist.

This location holds a special place in my heart, as I remember when it was a liquor store 12 years ago, back when I lived just across the street. It’s been wonderful to see it evolve into such a vibrant and welcoming spot. I’m also eagerly looking forward to the opening of their new tapas restaurant, Siesta, just a block away on Cedric Boulevard—I have no doubt it will be another fantastic addition.

Botanica is a place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It’s truly a treasure!

A delightful atmosphere & really extraordinary, creative food! It was the perfect Summer celebration – a meal of all the beautiful Summer flavors & a night at the Greek Theater. The food was bright, flavorful & exceptional. We ordered family style & shared. In my opinion this is always the best way to dine. Each & every dish got a “Wow.. that is amazing” Do not fail yourself & be sure to get desert!

Botanica is where seasonal California produce meets global inspiration in the most delicious way possible. This isn’t just a restaurant — it feels like a wellness sanctuary with food as its language.

The menu is vibrant, produce-forward, and always evolving. Their mezze spreads are a must — bursting with fresh herbs, spice, and texture. The lamb meatballs and shakshuka are perfectly seasoned and deeply satisfying. But the unexpected star? Their vegetable sides. Botanica has the rare ability to make a simple beet or squash feel luxurious.

The drinks are just as thoughtful. The wine list leans natural and biodynamic, with plenty of great picks by the glass. And don’t skip the non-alcoholic options — the house-made tonics and juices are surprisingly addictive.

The ambiance is light and airy, with an indoor-outdoor feel that fits Silver Lake perfectly. You’ll likely find writers with laptops in the morning and couples sharing rosé by sunset.

Bonus: Their little market sells a curated selection of sauces, wines, pantry goods, and local finds — perfect if you want to bring a bit of Botanica home with you.

This is the kind of place that feeds you well and makes you feel even better.

this was our second time visiting this restaurant and I rarely go back to restaurants because there are just so many to try! But my goodness, the quality and freshness of every dish we got which, between the two visits, probably over 10 were all standout dishes! I love this place because it’s very intentional that they use high-quality ingredients without needing heavy sauces and creams to cover up anything. This restaurant will be in my top list! Also the cocktails are herbaceous! 12/10!
