The ambiance and decorations are so cute and well decorated it is really inviting. The food was delicious, fish was fresh, and great variety from stir fried noodles, milk tea, fried rice to sushi! Definitely will be a new go to place. Service was quick, inviting, and accommodating.

The server was friendly and prompt to help. Finally prices were quite good specially for the quality and quantity. I’ll be coming back!

Two other parties there, server never approached us after we were seated and when we finally managed to wave her down to order the server said “sorry it’s really busy”..?
My cup had a lipstick stain on it and when I asked the server for another one she took it to the back counter, wiped it off with a dry napkin, and put it back down in front of me.
Seaweed salad way too sweet, but salmon roll was fine.

Best food on campus, everyone likes it. The staff is also the sweetest ever. If you want some place to eat good on campus this would definitely be the spot. We always get the crispy tofu.

Staff is great. Ana walked us through the menu and we all went with the AYCE. Bro, when they say “AYCE,” it’s literally everything, sushi, ramen, appetizers, the works.
Fish is super fresh, service is fast, and nothing felt rushed or low quality like some AYCE spots. Portions are generous, plates keep coming, and every roll hit.
If you’re in Irvine and love sushi, BO TAN is a no-brainer. Come hungry.

Really good salmon sashimi. I love the pickled wasabi they give with it. Got the Ocean Breeze Roll and Mount Fuji Roll. Ocean breeze was really good but a little small for rolls. Mount Fuji roll was excellent, rich and creamy.

The sushi rolls were poorly made — they fell apart easily and didn’t taste fresh. What’s worse, the rolls looked nothing like the pictures on the menu, which felt misleading. I expected better quality and attention to detail for the price. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning unless the presentation and consistency improve.
