My husband and I tried this place together once before and throughly enjoyed it. We decided we wanted to take our kid’s here since we enjoyed it so much last time and safe to say we will not be going back. We walked in and stood waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes, despite the many open tables and several hostesses seeing us. Once we were seated it took another 15 minutes to even get service. There was a nice server who saw us and asked who had our table and the other servers just looked at him and shrugged their shoulders. Thankfully he took on our table and got us going. We did have to ask for a highchair for our 10 month old and unfortunately we had to wipe it down because it was disgusting and covered in old food. I get it kid’s are messy but c’mon, a quick wipe down is all it takes. We managed it with a wet one in 45 seconds before seating our baby. Our drinks took another 15 minutes to get to our table because it seemed like we were continuously being forgotten about. My burger was not cooked the way I’d asked and the bun was extra crispy and dry. My husband’s and older son both said their pizza was good and the gentleman serving us was very kind but the whole atmosphere was just unwelcoming for us especially having small children.

The hostess and the young lady that was training were absolutely delightful! The manager was nice. The waitress had an attitude. The fish and chips were burnt on the bread but half raw inside. The flat bread with cheese was hard as a rock. All the pizzas were great. Fries were delicious too. Took 55 minutes to get meals. There were 7 of us and 2 of us waited another 5-10 minutes for our meals after the others at our table got theirs. Two other tables got their food before they brought our last two meals. Seemed to have kitchen issues. We went after lunch hour on a Saturday and it was not crowded. The birthday boy enjoyed his food so I’m happy about that.

3.5/5 Came in for a late lunch on a Sunday. Was not very busy and we got sat right away. It did take a while to get our food ordered and to get the food, but our server was nice and attentive. All the food was good. Sodas were all flat. I enjoyed my Sicilian pizza. The crust was great and lots of toppings. Daughter had the crispy chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good she just wished the chicken was a little more crispy.

Wonderful service from Russ, Taylor and the other servers. My hubby and I go back every week. The servers make us feel like old friends. Love the pizza and it is economical. Been customers for many years and plan for many more happy meals.

My family went to Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar in the Spokane Valley on Saturday, May 4, 2024. My wife ordered the habanero mango chicken sandwich and I got the penne pasta with grilled chicken. Our kids ordered off the children’s menu with my daughter opting for the burger and fries while my son got the chicken nuggets and fries. When it comes to the food itself, I would say it was overall good. My pasta tasted decent and I really liked the bread it came with. My wife said her sandwich was good and my children were happy with their meals.
I would say the prices are a tad on the high side (but again, just a tad). The children’s menu appears to be a good deal with the meals starting at $7 and including a drink but many of the kids meals aren’t $7 and you have to pay extra for sides. You can order a pasta bowl for $14 which is very affordable but if you add any protein to it or you get one of their featured pastas it will run you a least $18-$20. For the portion size and the overall quality (which is good but not great), I just wouldn’t rate the overall value as excellent.
The restaurant itself has seen better days. It is outdated. The service? It was awesome. I think our server was the manager on duty and we really appreciated her attentiveness, accuracy, and pleasant demeanor. There are worse places to go than Boston’s.

I ordered online last Thursday, 2 pizzas and sweet potato fries. When I got home one of my pizzas had hair on the pizza, I called immediately. The female who answered stated there was not a manager on site and she has no idea what to do but would put my information on her managers desk to call back. No call back, I reached and was told there was no manger on site. It is not Monday evening and I reached out yet again and was told again no manger on site. How do you run a restaurant without a manager on site during dinner hours?? Also, it should not take this long to return a call. All I wanted was a bbq chicken pizza, and it’s almost a week later and I still have yet to get my bbq chicken pizza. I am super frustrated with this entire situation.

The only reason I am leaving 1* is for the “manager” (Laura?), and this review needs to be seen.
I had a great experience this evening with bartender Lori. She was busting her butt with a full bar side but never left me to feel like I was being forgotten, and was prompt and professional.
As I was ready to leave, a manager who was assisting a large Christmas party was settling checks. Lori informed me that it would be a little bit cause the POS was being used, which was no issue, I wasn’t in a rush.
As soon as Lori got to the POS after the manager was finished, the manager shortly arrived again. The first thing out of her mouth to Lori was “hurry up!”. I was the complicated customer that asked for my check split up for business purposes and Lori was working to do so. As I’m sitting in front of them watching this manager belittle and degrade her employee IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS sitting at the bar, I had enough. When I asked the manager to stop talking to her that way and that I had been waiting for 20mins for her to finish so I could have my check she snapped at me and told me to mind my business and “I’m not listening to you”.
Lori apologized for the behavior I encountered to no fault of hers, and When I asked Lori to speak with the manager she informed me I already had. I was appalled. Not only was this manager completely unprofessional, demoralizing and just simply rude, she decided to glare at me while I patiently waited to sign my checks.
I will be staying nearby for the next 2 months for business and wanted a great restaurant to call my kitchen to bring my employees and family to. However, I think I will call ahead and ensure Lori is there and lunatic Laura isn’t….

I think this restaurant would have been a very solid three stars however the service was absolutely terrible. It was not busy they were not crowded but the server barely said anything to us at all. Was not friendly. And was not attentive to our needs. The spinach artichoke dip was good, very spicy, but very good. I also had the ribs. I wish there had been more sauce, and what sauce there was was actually on the underside of the ribs and not on the meat. The seasoned fries were good, however soft and not crisp. This may be considered a disadvantage to some to others that may be in advantage eat at your own risk. We also had a Florentine pizza, that lacked any Florentine taste. It was quite bland and I was not impressed. The truffle fries we’re about the same as the seasoned fries not great but good. Again leading to what I said before a three-star review is deserving but with the service considered two stars at best. If you consider price it’s more like a one-star.
