We had a group of 11 and were spread out over the table. When our waitress brought the food and asked who got the jambalaya pasta, I said I did. She set it down in front of me and it didn’t seem right, but I proceeded to eat it thinking what she said it was is what I ordered . At the end of the meal a person in our group said that their meal seemed pretty spicy. We then came to realize that I got her dish and she got mine.
To put it mildly our waitress was not very good at her job. She didn’t really have a clue about the menu, rarely checked on us, and didn’t ask if we wanted refills of anything. We had some members of our group who had to leave a little bit earlier than others and as I was still eating, out waitress was standing g there waiting for me to pay our bill. It would have been nice to finish my meal before paying. When I got the bill, I paid it with credit card, but was hoping to get an itemized receipt which I never saw our waitress again and didn’t have any time to wait longer.
We might give Boston’s another shot someday as our group had good food and the atmosphere was good. I just don’t like going out to eat and paying what a person does and then not getting proper service.
Hind site I could have just added one more topping to pizza for .99, and been just as happy. The Ceasar was a good buy. A Ceasar side salad purchased on it’s own is $6.50. I never would have added it, to the meal if we had just ordered a pizza to share. It turned out to all be more then we could eat in one sitting. Good value. Can’t wait to go again and try other options. Ps, the crust was wonderful.
Last time, we ordered wings and they brought us boneless wings. The waitress was nice enough about it, but said, “oh I assumed you meant boneless.” What? Why? Took another half hour to get the wings and the rest of our party was done eating. No comp of any kind and took the boneless wings back.
Today, we ordered the small bites/snack size ~$5 spinach dip. I even pointed to it on the menu when I ordered. When the waitress brought it, she brought the full size. I asked why it wasn’t the smaller, $10 cheaper one and she said there is only one size. That’s just not true??? Second, she didn’t bring us any plates, napkins, or silverware with the food. She seemed very annoyed when we asked. Also didn’t bring any pizza cheese or peppers despite us getting a pizza and seeing her bring them to all her other tables. Asked her for a to go container for the giant spinach dip we didn’t order. She brings 1 regular flat box that isn’t made for dip, clearly. The food was fine, but this waitress really ruined the trip. I mean the meal was $10 more than we wanted or expected. Unsure if we will keep coming back. Trying blackbirds pizza at this point.
Wild rice soup & Cajun pasta was good.
Pizzas sometimes get a little too much sauce, but still very good.
Prices are high. 27$ for a medium Meat pizza.
We went to Bostons tonight (11/26), not our usual night, and it was completely disastrous. We waited nearly 15 min until I went to the bar to request service. The server looked overwhelmed and another gentleman helped us. The GM was there (she made comment this was her title) messing with the TV in the booth right behind us for no less than 10 minutes for a customer, not busting ass to meet customer demand in a full restaurant and bar. I understand meeting customer requests, but no greeting or letting us know we were seen to be served was frustrating. Our tab was missing and while this occurred people from the dining side were asking for service and complaining. Very unfortunate experience.
