They have a great variety on the menu, and the food feels genuinely authentic to the Canton region. Everything I’ve tried so far has had a solid, satisfying taste. You’re definitely getting the real deal here, not watered-down versions of the classics.
What I really appreciate is the value. Prices are reasonable, and you walk away feeling like you got a good meal for your money. It’s definitely a favorite for locals, so be aware that it can get busy, especially during peak dinner hours or on weekends. If you hate waiting, maybe plan to arrive a little early!
The vibe is casual, nothing fancy, but the dining area is spacious and kept clean, which is a big plus. The staff are also great—attentive without being overly solicitous. They checked on us promptly and made sure things ran smoothly throughout the meal.
Overall, if you’re in the area and craving authentic Chinese, check them out. It’s a reliable choice.
The food overall was more than enough for 3 people and even without the crab, feeding three with the set meal is a decent bargain. You do need to order a bowl of rice ($1) to fill full since there wasn’t any carbs, but for this price to feed 3 on non-fast/junk food is pretty good steal nowadays.
One thing to note, I believe this is franchised off store from the main store in Rosemead, which is by far way tastier and has more options, so give both a try if you’re around the area.
