We tried the sampler plate, I am not a big fan of pork. The ribs and pulled pork were delicious. I enjoyed my meal, brisket was a little tough but the smokey flavor made up for it. The green beans and mac and cheese were delicious. The nachos with brisket were great and it was a big serving. Sausage has a little kick and is flavorful. Can’t wait to go back.

Went on opening day. We had the 1/2 slab of ribs and sausage platter with greens and coleslaw. Ribs were great and fall off the bone and not overly sauced. The greens were great, I was in Atlanta this summer and went to a few places and these beat those by a long shot. My wife had the sausage plate which is more like sausage crossed with a hot link, however, my wife loved the taste (you also get a little snap from the casing.) I heard people coming in requesting the cornbread and they were sold out, so that will have to be a try next time. I also wished they offered a combo plate so we could have tried a little of everything to cover all the bases. We will, though, be coming here for our BBQ fix. Located in a hidden part of the strip mall in Horizon, seating is limited, I would say 16 to 20 could fit comfortably inside. No pictures as I was starving lol

Decided to try for lunch today. I have had BBQ in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Missouri. I can honestly say the ribs I had to today were some of the best. Nice smoke char on outside, nice pink smoke on inside. Meat fell right off the bone. They weren’t over seasoned or drowned in sauce. Very Good. I will definitely be returning.

Service – the owner is in the military and this is the first if two locations. His gave us samples of the cornbread and the Fully-loaded Mac and cheese. He refilled our soda and gave us great customer service.
Food – my wife and I had the brisket sandwich. Her side was potato salad and I had onion rings. The rings were lite and crunchy with the right amount of onion. My wife said she liked the potato salad. The brisket was moist but it did have some fat. They serve the bbq sauce on the side. My family liked the sauce. After talking with the owner he stated “they are working out the qinks”. He told us if they run out of meat the will close the store for the day. While there, my family and the customer behind us finished his brisket. So know they are a start-up, family owned business.
Atoshphere – the sitting area is small. They do have a television but it was not on. The owner did turn it on later for some other clients.

The staff was friendly but not formal. The management was absent. My pulled pork was luke warm and had a slight taste similar to lighter fluid. There was no sweet tea available. The television was on the Disney channel. I doubt this place will stay open long.

Fantastic BBQ this side of Texas. After living in south Texas it’s hard to find BBQ that compares. Well folks this is the place! Better than any of the other BBQ places in town. Fantastic!! Owners are great people too!
