Haven’t been here in years. Was a little to hot when came in. Changed my seat at the bar twice. But then it eventually leveled off. The atmosphere was great. The music choices were terrific. We sat at the bar. I dont usually like to have dinner at the bar but… My friend and I started with wings (flats only) honey bbq and teriyaki. Didnt see much difference. Then we each ordered the steak tidbits rare. We knew we would take half home. I have never eaten a steak tidbit by hand. No reason to use a knife. So tender. And when I looked at the patrons at the bar, 80% were having dinner at the bar. I cannot wait to tell family and friends.

I been a regular, and my fiance went tonight and was denied service due to him service animal, which is illegal, he is a veteran and has a disability, which service animal helps him with.
He have even showed his documentation on his service animal, which is not required to show. And to which the respond went, “i do not care”
I guess this place does not respect veterans and even basic accommodations for disabilities

Quaint little bar with great wing and drink specials on Wednesdays and has been a quintessential part of the Wantagh bar scene for about as long as I can remember and even before that. You can always count on friendly faces and cold drinks but definitely be prepared to bump some elbows when it gets busy because it gets tight! Plenty of parking both in the from and back of the bar.

I Sat at the bar and got 2 drinks which were okay but my order of 10 wings and wedges were a disaster I could tell they were expecting me to leave and not check. I asked for all flat and the bartender said “we don’t do that” but gave me all legs with no sauce and they were clearly precooked and redropped in grease (food came out in 8 mins w no sauce on them and were WELL WELL WELLL DONE and to make matters worse the container had sauce on and in it so I feel like they feed me out of the trash can). Nice local bar with some of the best wings around.
When you walk in, you get that classic, old school, local pub feel. They have a small dining area, a large bar, and two dart board areas.
The wings are notably the best thing here, and I’m not kidding when I say there are some of the best wings on the island. Cooked nice and crispy with a great classic Buffalo. Their burgers are also good.
The bar has a nice tap selection and some great happy hour prices. Bartenders also give some nice buybacks.
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice pint and some delicious wings.

I was told they have some of the best wings on the island. And I can confirm that they do. The perfect amount of crunch without being overcooked and great sauce options. Frank the bartender was also a gentleman and a class act and checked in when appropriate to see if I needed anything else. Thank you for a great experience.

So I had a crazy few days lol. I went to the Nelly/Ja Rule/Eve concert, the next day I worked and drove my son and I out to WildWood, NJ to participate in a short part of my boyfriend’s annual family vacation, Tuesday night I left Wildwood at 10 PM because I had a notary class Wednesday. After the concert my friend Jen told me she was going to be here with her other friends. So I went to meet them because I didn’t get to see them during the concert. Jen is so amazing she’s very generous with me even though she doesn’t have to be, so she paid for my burger that I ordered here because I didn’t eat dinner and when I got to Boss Crocker’s I was hungry. I gave the bartender a $20 tip because if someone pays for my meal I like to pay it forward and give the waitstaff or bartender a banger tip.
The bacon cheeseburger was very good. They made it very fast, I don’t know if it was the hunger but I loved it. They made it medium rare at my request and it was one of the best burgers I ever scarfed down.
The bar was a pretty good environment, it was a pretty chill crowd for a Sunday night, more packed than I thought it would be. I can’t say much about the drinks I only drank water but give Boss Crocker’s a chance!
