Some of the best Turkish/Mediterranean food I’ve ever had is at Bosphorus. After almost a year of passing you by, I decided to stop by. I was warmly welcomed by all of the staff members. It was lunchtime and busy, but I did not mind waiting and was given a table that was meant for four. I offered to move, but the waiter would not hear anything of it. I was able to chill, read, and enjoy my food without any problems.

Ethnic eating in Cary is tricky at best.. the fine folks Bosphorus embody everything that is perfect t with a Turkish restaurant. Super funny and attentive waiter. Great turn around and food was hot and plenty. The pita is fresh and hot. The calf liver and and Sheppard Salad are a mist starter to get the games going… can’t wait tongo back.

I was concerned when it was mostly empty when we walked in at 6, but by the time we left it was packed.

Came with high expectations only to find out their Thursday special Chicken Doner was super dry and the sheesh kebab too bland with a teeny bit of their cucumber dip/cacik. The only thing that I really enjoyed was the complimentary warm fresh turkish bread/pide with oil dip.

Been here many times. Food here are fresh, well cooked. Not too salty, not too oily. Turkish style. What i like most is the black tea and the bread. Great service, there are several professional servers.

Bosphorus has delicious food. The ambience is alright and service was as well okay. The first time I went here, it was crowded and didn’t wanna wait in queue. So after a week I tried and it was less busy.

Mediocre Turkish food. The complementary bread and oil was the best thing we had. With suggestions from the waitress, We ordered:

While not an upscale restaurant the fast paced Bosphorus Restaurant is a really good place to eat Turkish fare. While not exactly the same as Mediterranean and middle eastern neighbors, the food is familiar and their version here is very tasty and moderately priced for this type of preparation. Really like the mezze (ezme is not spicy!) And the lab shush kebab, but the ali nazik was drier than expected. Service is usual fast and friendly although be careful with your bill as there are omissions and inaccuracies. They also do not serve alcohol here so if you want to have beer, wine, etc is byob and they don’t charge a corkage fee to cover cleaning glassware, etc. Definitely enjoyed and will be back again.

Pide and lahmacun were delicious, the servers were attentive and kind. We didn’t wait too long for our food although the restaurant was full. Definitely recommend.
