Traditional Bosnian cuisine is a mix of traditional, culture an history. That’s why it is so special and withit carries a yearning for relaxing enjoyment which we call “Merak” ,,Ćejf” We would say the most known dishes from our country are Ćevapi and Burek. Ćevapi is traditionally served with lepina, onion or ajvar, while Burek is best served with homemade drinkable yogurt (buttermilk or sour milk) Here at Bosna Grill you can find the best Cevape and Burek in the Chicago land area, with our quality and style of preparation since 2009. Welcome! Bosna Grill

First time visiting and trying the Burek, a coworker invited me. The food was so good and generous portion , delicious . They made it from scratch, with spinach and fresh feta cheese. Pair with fresh yogurt , amazing. Need to go back and try new plates. The place is casual and small but the food is very good and overall great experience,
recommend it 100

Cute little place, limited seating btw but when we went it was not busy. Super friendly service. The food had a lot of flavor. The bread was amazing! Highly recommend this spot. I loved everything about my meal. Can’t wait to come back.

This is an absolutely unacceptable dining experience from start to finish. We visited Boğaza Göre Restaurant and paid a steep price, nearly $50, for a thoroughly disappointing meal. The minced meat pastry was overwhelmingly peppery, and the dough was raw and undercooked, with far too much onion. The mixed grill platter was exorbitantly priced and tasted like frozen ingredients. The service was abysmal, with extremely long waits and unfriendly staff. The presentation was lacking and the plates were plastic-like. Overall, a truly dreadful experience that did not justify the cost.

I recently visited Bosna Grill, a small, unassuming spot in Des Plaines, and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the service provided by Layla was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
Although I originally stopped in just for a cup of Turkish coffee, the aroma and atmosphere quickly changed my mind. I ended up enjoying a full meal, and it was easily the best I’ve had in my six months since returning home to Chicago. What stood out most was the freshness of the food, the generous portions, and the evident care put into every dish.
Cleanliness is something I pay close attention to, often judging it by the restrooms. Bosna Grill has a single restroom for both genders, and it was spotless—another sign of the pride they take in their establishment.
If you’re ever in the mood for something different and exceptional—particularly authentic Balkan cuisine—this is the place to try. It may be small and unassuming, but the flavors, service, and hospitality are exceptional.

Bosna Grill is a truly delicious spot that genuinely captures the spirit of Sarajevo. The Family Size minced meat Burek is our favorite — perfect for sharing and great for a family visit.
Their chevapi and Sudzukice are also outstanding; the flavors feel authentic and high quality.
With its yoghurt drink, Burek, and Chevapis, we leave satisfied every single time.
Our only wish is that they stayed open after 6 p.m. I highly recommend it!

Delicious food. We had Chevapi and Bosnian Burger (Pljeskavica), shared half and half so we could try both. Definitely enjoyed each. Very friendly service. The place is cute and inviting. Just perfect.

Bosna Grill is a true hidden gem. We drove an hour to dine here, and every dish impressed—from the incredible ćevapi to the outstanding burek and fresh shopska salad. The Bosnian coffee was to die for, and the palačinke provided the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. Warm atmosphere and excellent service from our waitress. Highly recommended.

It was my first time to try Bosnian food. It was very delicious. The bread in this shop was especially delicious. The coffee had a wonderful aroma and depth of flavor. We will definitely visit this shop again. We enjoyed the wonderful traditional food. Thank you very much.
