Standing tall in Hale’s Corner is this classic inn that looks like it once served travellers/passengers from steam locomotives or stage coaches. Much of its old warm charm is still intact with real woodwork and the tin ceiling adorning some modern upgrades. The food here is exceptional from burgers to pulled pork to ribs to the dry rub smoker fries. The smoker shack in the back creates a delicious aroma when you walk up into the joint. Staff are very friendly and make the dining experience top notch. There is also a drive through on weekends for hot ham and rolls and fish fry, something we’ll have to try.

This past weekend we tried the drive-thru Fish Fry for the first time. We were very impressed with everything. Even with a line, we were not waiting long. At the first window, staff took your order and then you went up to the next to receive your food. My husband and I shared a meal; it came with 3 pieces of fish, fries, coleslaw, and a piece of rye bread. We loved the fish and fries, but were not fans of the coleslaw. It was very dilly, but obviously that is just a preference thing. We LOVED the rye bread. The staff member who gave us our food, noticed we had our puppy in the back seat. It was so sweet of her to give us 2 dog biscuits for him!

On Sunday, we also ended up going back to try their hot ham and rolls, again going to the drive-thru. We tried the ham, rolls, German potato salad, and cinnamon rolls. We loved everything. The ham was more dry with a smokey flavor. The rolls were really fluffy and fresh. I am very happy we tried Bosch’s twice this weekend. We will most definitely be back!

Its a typical suburban bar & grill. Definitely for the locals of that area. I met some people from work. We went on a Friday, so I got their fish fry because nothing else seemed catch my eye on the menu (its mostly burgers, ect). It was average. They had a seasonal drink menu which we had to ask for because the waitress forgot to give it. The drinks were good. Dining room a bit cold, the fireplace wasn’t on. Was busy but it looked like everyone was getting served at a good pace. All in all, it was average to me, nothing special. Not really my kind of place. It wouldn’t be my first choice of a bar & grill but this is just my opinion.

Stopped in for dinner before a show and were pleased with the experience. Our friends ordered sandwiches while my wife and I had the beer batter fish fry. Excellent fish and tasty fries, but the tartar sauce could be a bit more flavorful. We enjoyed our dinner!

My wife loves their fish. We both think the fries were great… there were lots of people using the drive-thru picking up fish fries. We dined in and love the greeting opening up the front door!

9/5 Visit. We sat down, ordered our food. We noticed our former priest having dinner and decided to pay for their meal anonymously. We finished at the same time. I got up to pay both bills which I did. When I returned to our table I noticed their server give them their bill and watched him sign the receipt. I brought this up to both our servers. It was Friday night fish fry and they were buried. They said that the person that can handle it wasn’t in today so I gave it a couple days. Called 3 or 4 times…either no answer or “They’ll take a message and someone will call back”. They never have…we filled out an online form, no reply. Tried their email address, no reply. Going on 7 weeks and at this point it’s not the $57. Called today and was told a manager isn’t in and they’re not sure when one is coming in. Monday morning I’m making a call to Visa fraud department. Great food, gonna miss it but won’t ever go back because of the customer service.

The staff is super friendly that’s a great thing! Nice selection of beers on tap. The food, although not the greatest, it was still pretty decent. There’s definitely room for improvement, I’d recommend focusing more on the flavor rather than the size of the meal, quality over quantity. I would definitely order the nachos again, I’m not so sure about the burger, wish the meat had more flavor to it.
Even if the food wasn’t the greatest, the ambiance of the place was great, and the decorations of the place are really cool! I would come back again for the vibe of the place.

We ate here for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was pleasant. We ordered the brisket sandwiches and the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches. Two thumbs up on the sandwiches. The portions were ample. The dry rubbed fries were delicious.

I feel bad rating this place a 4 but its really gone down hill in the past couple years and i think the other reviews agree. That go to spot in Hales just feels different. Prices are expensive, people treated that way

The smoked, then fried wings are excellent. The brisket. Ribs and dry rub fries are a must try. They make a mean old fashioned too!
