We happen to get there during “Power Hour” which is all thier Ramen bowls are $10. We tried the Spicy black sesame chicken bowl and spicy miso bowl. They were good, not great, in our opinion. For us , the star of the show was the Boru Kimchi Fries, lots of flavor, fries were crispy, delicious.

They have Happy Hour 3-6 daily. We each got a cocktail, Lucky Lychee and Fist of Fury, both delicious.

Ask for Bonnie! She’s an amazing server!

This was our first time at Boru. We loved it! The cocktails are creative and fun.

The atmosphere is great! Inside or out on the patio. Loved the music.

We had the Bulgogi Bao, Shrimp Dumplings, and the Dandan Noodles. All were delicious!! The Dandan noodles were perfectly spicy! Not for the faint of heart.

We can’t wait to return and try the r ramen and other goodies here.

Went in for dinner late on Sunday the 4th after working a long day. Our server was a nice guy with tattoos on his arms. He was patient with us as we were slightly delirious from working all day and made pleasant conversation. Gave us great service and laughed at our dumb jokes. The Ramen was excellent, appetizers like the kitchen fries and Korean fried chicken wings were just out of this world. This was order second time coming back after working a long day and we will keep coming back for the food, service and atmosphere. Love that they have anime playing on the TVs and Korean movie posters in the bathrooms too.

Bōru is our happy hour spot! My wife and I drive 30 minutes just for the happy hour baos and beers. We’ve always had good service and enjoy the atmosphere. My favorites are the sticky ribs, Korean fried chicken wings and of course the pork belly bao. The food is worth paying full price but with such a good happy hour Bōru has definitely become our fancy/budget date nights.

The very 1st time I came in, the two ladies were very friendly and accommodating. The mushroom ramen was a little above ok. I needed a place closer than KC Craft to visit and this seemed to be the best option. The second time for pickup, the wait was a little longer than I expected. I was the only person waiting. When the waiter/host came over I told him my name and he looked at the food, turned around, and asked another worker if I had paid for my food already. Now, it didnt hit me until I drove off that it was strange to ask that when I had an online order, and the site never mentioned a pay in person option. The food mushroom ramen and shrimp meal was just ok. Fast forward to my third time. I walked in for a pickup and several workers looked our way but did not come over, speak, or gesture for us to hold on. Again, we were the only ones waiting. Finally, after several minutes, one waiter tells us he will be there soon. After a few more minutes, he gives a very dull what do you need sort of greeting, that lacked a welcoming spirit. I noticed right away, I was given my takeout order without him questioning if it was paid for in advance. On top of this, the food was very bland, almost as if there was a completely different cook on duty. I will not be returning.

When I had the bulgogi it was really really salty, like inedible salty. I was really sad because this was gonna be my last meal here (since it’s closing down at the end of the month), and I wanted to go out with a bang. I did have other foods that were delicious but the bulgogi did alter my experience slightly. I was happy to be there and my server was very nice and the atmosphere was cozy and sweet. I hope that whatever direction the company owner goes in with Boru is similar or even better compared to what they have now.

We visited for the 1st time today and the bao did not disappoint! David C was amazing and very helpful with suggestions on what to try. The Soju he recommended was amazing. All 3 flavors of bao we tried (pork belly, king mushroom, and bulgogi) were wonderful and the hot & spicy Korean fried wings all we flavorful and prepared perfectly. They also have a great draft selection and unique NA options. Well worth the price! Highly recommend!

We placed a pick up order and it was done rather quickly. I went inside and they said they would bring it out for me. My boru bowl was delicious, but one of our bowls was extremely salty. I definitely wouldn’t have eaten that one. The eggs were soft boiled perfectly. The gyoza were amazing, not super crispy which I enjoyed. Overall I would visit again and try other things on the menu.

I always enjoy my meal when I eat here. I had the Rib-eye rice bowl and some kimchi. Additionally, we had some Kimchi fries with our meal.

Service was very attentive, I felt well taken care of.

The restaurant was very clean and they had nice music playing for a good ambiance.

I was a little sad to hear that some old menu options had been removed during the quarantine, but to reiterate from earlier, the food was still fantastic.

Ordered online on a Sunday night. Was ready within 25mins. Ordered the Mushroom Ramen,
Friend rice and Brussels sprouts salad.
The mushroom ramen is amazing. Lots of variety of mushrooms, two large chunks of crispy tofu and a soft boiled egg. The broth is tasty and dense. The fried rice is a great serving size and tasty. The Brussels sprouts were good but a bit dry even when the sauce was added. A great go to for ramen in Waldo. It’s packaged really well for take out too.
