A Saturday evening visit when it was busy, and probably a longer wait time than normal. However the service was polite and attentive and the food was well worth the wait. Ravioli was awesome and the sauce reminded me of visits to European restaurants – it was really good! Great place for traditional Italian dinner!

Every time we are in town, dinner here is a must! I love their half cut tenderloin! It’s huge, I take 1/2 home for lunch the next day. Staff is always friendly. I love the ambiance of an old Italian restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

This was our first time. Great food and great service. Shoutout to Dominique for giving us a sample of the meat sauce with fried ravioli before ordering and taking the time to explain certain dishes and giving her recommendations. We will definitely return!

We had a fun outing with friends. Tuesday is prime rib night. The food was excellent. The whole night turned out well. One thing I did not care for were the dried bread sticks.

Just finished eating prime rib on a Tuesday night at Borrie’s. Passing though Great Falls by myself from Butte and sat in the bar. The food was as delicious as ever and the prime rib was perfect, even if it was the first time I ever saw beef at market price on menu. My blame for that isn’t directed towards Smelter Ave. though, it’s directed a couple thousand miles East on Pennsylvania Ave.

What was really great about Borrie’s tonight though was the entire bar was locals. They greeted each other by name as they walked in. They talked about the Cats and the Griz and Great Falls old timers. They told stories about a guy named Tiny that used to live in the basement before he got tied up with the old timers in Butte I knew and defected to the old M&M. They were drinking strong booze, mixed well by a bar tender that remembered the crowd when the smelter was running. Even though I was stuffed, I ordered a Spumoni sundae, just to linger a little longer in the Montana I grew up in and love, and which is increasingly difficult to find.

Good food in a historic setting. I really enjoyed the fried ravioli with brown sauce. New prep technique to me and delicious.
Minestrone was ok.
Prime Rib Tuesday! Woohoo!
Like me some prime rib. I asked for a rarer cut if they had one and my serving was a bit redder than my brothers. Ate the whole thing. The horseradish is high octane, stuff packs a little bite to it!
I will go back!

When we arrived the hostess informed us they didn’t have any menus available. As she seated us, brought over a stale basket of broken up cracker sticks because they were out of breadsticks as well. We ordered the half and half, which is spaghetti and ravioli, the sauce tasted like a cross between brown gravy and chili!! Gross!! The meat was not ground beef…not exactly sure what it was but mushy and gritty!! We didn’t have an opportunity to correct the issue because after our server dropped off our food we didn’t see her again until she brought the bill. I don’t usually give negative reviews but this was out of the norm for any restaurant. I would not recommend this place

Tried a few dishes, did not care for most of it. Spaghetti sauce was not good. Bread was hard as a rock. Raviolis were not good. Fried chicken was good though.

The atmosphere is ok but feels claustrophobic, food is overpriced and underwhelming, portions are generous but that doesn’t matter when the food is practically inedible, will not be getting the spaghetti again if I ever come back
