Stumbled upon this place. No one approached me me with a menu for 10 minutes and i was at the bar. I ordered a bowl with corned beef. The eggs were completely overdone browned, there was a weird juice as the bottom and barely any potatos. Horrible

The description of the Rueben said “heaping portion of corned beef” (as it should be for any Rueben. Take a look at the picture and tell me in what universe that qualifies as ‘heaping’. Kettle chips were out of a bag, not even warmed up. If you are not gonna make kettle chips in a restaurant, don’t put them on the menu as anybody can buy a bag of old chips.

Worst place I have ever been to. There was no food available, and the bartender had the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never been to a place like this before. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend it.

Had an hour layover and it was dinner time, so we (4 adults) stopped here. Seated quickly, server was very attentive, but a few mistakes were made. One drink (a beer) did not arrive for 25 minutes until we asked about it. One pizza (out of two) was sent back by the server (yay!) because she wasn’t happy with it (burnt). The pizzas take 25 minutes, so we ended up cancelling it, but the one we did get was so big, it was plenty. Check in with the server on food, let them know your travel situation, and you should be just fine.

They give a really bad reputation to airport bars. Since travelers have very limited choices, they take advantage of new customers who they think they can fool. The service is poor, the attitude is unacceptable, and the overall experience is extremely disappointing. A place like this should not be in business.

I stopped here twice (flying in and out) and thought the food was great actually. The bacon cheeseburger and the salad were very flavorful and delicious.

Visited twice. Once on the way out on a business trip and again on the way home. First visit sat at the bar and ordered a Rueben which was quite good. However I also asked if there were any lagers on tap. Bartender told me that they had a house brew called Born in Detroit which was a lager. She brought me a glass and it was an ale. Seriously you’re a bartender and you don’t know the difference between a lager and an ale? Not impressed but no big deal. Decided to give them another shot on the return trip. I sat at a table which was the least messy as there were no clean tables at all. 3 tables had customers and 6 were messy and needed to be cleaned. Guy comes over and cleans the table after I sit down and then leaves. Comes back a while later and takes a drink order. About 5 minutes later he brings my drink and asks if I want to order any food. I ordered something to eat which wasnt that great. This whole time these other tables are sitting there without being cleaned. People are walking by looking in but they don’t see a place to sit. When I finished they STILL had not been cleaned. And some of the others patrons left and those tables weren’t cleaned either. If they don’t clean places the customer can see then what are the conditions your food is being prepared in? No thanks. I travel a lot through DTW. This place is off the list.

Got a real Detroit experience here, waiting over five minutes with my child standing in this sparsely seated restaurant with half a dozen staff members milling about, making eye contact and not speaking a word or acknowledging me before returning to their idle conversations with coworkers.
The few customers seated there looked miserable and most were waiting for service also (no food). It’s also very tacky to take up space in the middle of the table upselling customers on a bottle of Smart Water. Life’s too short for restaurants that insult their customers before they are even seated. Might be alright for a drink at the bar.

The service is the worst, she purposely ignored me while I was siting. The waitress is extremely rude, had no manner. Awfully environment, slippery and oily food.
