What a gem. I’ve heard a lot about this location and made the drive from Peoria just to try this place. Service was amazing, the owner and staff are very accommodating and polite. You feel like you are home. Food was delicious… the classic jibarito is something you just can’t beat. I always get 1 to eat there and one to go to eat later. Will be returning.

Was my first time in this restaurant. Was skeptical at first because it’s located connected to the BP gas station, not your average sit down Restaurant. To my supprise, I Really Loved the food, it was above my expectations, it was delicious!!!!!! The staff were very polite and friendly. I will go back, but next time I will get my order to go though. I do recommend Boriken. I wouldn’t call it a restaurant though.

Get past where it’s located because the food here is finaminal! Everything we had was delicious! Ordered several appetizers. 2 different meals and 3 different deserts. Kids and us loved it from first bite to last! Will become a regular it’s so good!

Tasty Puerto Rican food. It is very delicious. I would go back when in the area. It reminded me of Cuban food. We really enjoyed the Mufungo and the toasted Plaintains. I highly recommend this eatery. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

My Son and I were looking for a good latino restaurant in the area ( We are not from Chicago). We googled and directed to this place. Oh my goodness!! Delicious fresh,no wait,ready from the kitchen to the table. The guy who took care of Us, very friendly helpful and extremely nice, my boricuas never disappoint with greatness service, good food . Will definitely come back next time in Chicago!!

Come here strictly for the food. No frills, hole in the wall. We haven’t had too much Puerto Rican food but what we ordered and ate was delicious. I would come back to try other menu items.
