Amazing, thank you! The first night I ate here they were out of beans. Apparently there was a big rush prior to my arrival. No worries the rice was amazing without them, I also had Pernil and plantains. It was so DELICIOUS I decided to eat there 2 nights in a row. I think I have gained 5 lbs but it was so worth it. Should I come back to the area, I will definitely be back for more.

The food is excellent!!! I came across this place when I was dropping off a customer from Lyft I decided to take a stop to get some food because I was hungry and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made their food is absolutely unequivocally delicious.

Best pernil, carne guisada, yuca, and amarillos I’ve had in New Britain. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous. I also tried their alcapurria — it was tasty, just didn’t have much beef. Worth every dollar. 10 out of 10 in my opinion!

Gem of a place that apparently only opened a few months ago. They are a small family-owned business that truly puts their heart and souls into their food. You can tell they are still getting into the groove of things and they don’t have posted prices, but they do change the menu every few days. This restaurant is takeout only and it can be tight to wait in line inside, but when we went it wasn’t busy so we were helped immediately. I bet they will be successful in the long term. The woman at the counter was kind and the food delicious. We recommend the pernil, rice/beans, tostones, and sweet plantains!

This is not a sit-down place. Order to go. Good food. Servers sometimes in a good mood sometimes quite opposite. But overall would recommend

Small meal cost 15 plus asked how much she said between 11 and 13. I am a native Puerto Rican speak educated Spanish a bit rude if we start talking Spanish and at the end you start talking to me in English when giving me totals and my card back. The rice was not restaurant quality. Amogollao = Clumpy..teach that cook how to make that Puerto rican rice the right way. The food was not fresh she threw it in the plastic bag and when I took it out of the bag the entire button portion of the container was drenched in bean sauce. Horrible experience..
