The service is honestly the reason why I will continue to go there as often as possible. The workers are incredibly friendly and couldn’t ask for any better. You can tell they truly love their job.
Don’t order online if your planning on picking up just give them a call those online websites like doordash charge higher prices.
To some it might be a rough neighborhood but I think it’s well worth the trip.
I pulled around on my bike to see a bright red neon sign , and it drew me right in. I had to see what was inside such an oasis in area.
I immediately smelled the various grilled delights coming from behind the counter. A lovely hispanic woman came, smiled, and took my order. I just ordered a simple ham and cheese grinder and it was more than simple. Ham piled up on the roll next to wafer thin Swiss cheese. Then all the fixings I could want for with shredded lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar , oregano, salt and pepper. By the time I got my order, I had a very warm feeling about the place. I asked them how long they were there and they all perked up and said the store had been family owned , and managed for over 25 years.
I can’t wait to go back and dive into their specialty , Steak and cheese grinder.
Don’t miss it, just around the corner from broad and russ st, the yummy Boriqua Market is tucked in on Lawrence St.
Enjoy the selection!!
Where they’ll Charge you a carton of eggs, the pack of bacon, the bottle of mayo, you stepping into property and saying hello, the paper bag they bag your food in and the Gas/electricity they use to make you a Sandwich.
I’ve never in my life have paid $18 for a Bacon egg & cheese sandwich lettuce & tomato. (All included in the price) I was so flabbergasted by the price i almost left the sandwich on the counter. I tried to order through doordash and online price is $14.99 a $4 fee for adding Ham or other toppings which in mines I added Ham. Making the sandwich $19 ALONE. Brought a Parcha Juice which I’m assuming it’s like $6 & 8 lollipops I believe they’re 25 cent each. . .
Total $27.89. I will never come back here again. These prices are insane.
Been going for Years ! Must try the sandwiches!! Promise you won’t be let down!
