We tried this Korean barbecue restaurant using a gift card from a friend, and overall we enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere is nice, with attractive décor and several seating options, including private dining rooms, bar seating, couch-style seating with small tables, and traditional booths for cooking at the table. It’s a bit loud, parking is limited, and the vibe feels best suited for adults—great for drinks, appetizers, or a night out with friends after work.

We sat in a booth and did the full Korean BBQ experience, cooking our food at the table. The food itself was good, and we enjoyed trying a variety of items, including soup, kimchi, and different proteins. However, service was the biggest area for improvement. The menu can be a bit confusing, and while we asked several questions, our server was often absent and didn’t check in frequently. There were multiple times we were out of water or drinks and had to flag someone down, which was frustrating given the price point.

When our server did stop by, he seemed rushed—not unfriendly, but not particularly engaged or willing to spend time explaining the menu or enhancing the experience. We also had to ask for additional sauces rather than having options explained to us, which would have been helpful, especially for first-time diners paying for the full BBQ experience.

One additional note: there are no kid-specific menu options, and the restaurant doesn’t feel particularly family-oriented. While that’s not necessarily a negative, it’s worth noting for guests with children. This spot definitely feels more geared toward adults, date nights, or groups of friends.

Overall, the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but more attentive and educational service would greatly elevate the experience. We’d return again—most likely without children and for a more relaxed adult evening.

Very authentic Korean food! It’s one of the cleanest Korean restaurants I’ve been to. The servers were amazing: they will grill all the meat for you at the table. While a table is being set up or you are waiting, you can check out their exhibition hall or backyard.

I am no stranger to KBBQ restaurants, and this one was interesting. It is an al la carte, not all you can eat. The exterior had some cool decorations and they have a mini art museum you can peruse once you’re done. I went with my friends, 3 of us, and we ordered the $200 (around this) platter. We ordered 3 soups, assuming a combo would include one for each of us. The meat was very high quality and savory, however you didn’t get that much. The sides weren’t bad but I’ve had better (personally). At the end, they charged us for 2 extra bowls of soup, which was not previously disclosed or we wouldn’t have ordered them. And I can confidently say, this was the first time I ever left KBBQ still feeling hungry. For the price, the amount did not justify the price.

Low key the best Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to! The food is amazing and great selection of different cuts of meat. It’s definitely on the pricer end but worth to try. The atmosphere is quite nice as well, would def recommend.

Severely understaffed and a really disappointing experience. Our server left the meat and vegetables on the grill unattended, and everything ended up burnt. We waited a long time for help and it felt like no one was able to manage the tables properly. I understand restaurants get busy, but serving burnt food isn’t acceptable. I won’t be returning.

Banchan variety and taste was average, but meats were all excellent, especially the ribeye and filet. Seafood pancake was one of the best versions we’ve had to date! I wish I remembered the server’s name for our private room from Monday, December 8. He was AWESOME and helped us order the perfect amount of food for our party of 8. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you book a private room!

On the above average price range, but you get fantastic food and service. Parking can be an issue for some, depending on how busy they are, and time of day. If you cook your own meat, great place for dates. If you want them to cook, understand they can hear your intimate conversations. They are very professional about it, through our dirty jokes. Heat wasn’t an issue like other korean bbq places where you sweat through your meal. Ventilation was very good.

Not a thing to complain about from the menu. Love that it’s ssam focused! Food cooked at your table on tip of a cast iron grill heated with charcoal.

Hands down the very best seafood pancake I’ve had. The batter is just enough to hold the pancake together. Reminiscent of the Viet Shrimp Fritters (banh tom). The beef glass noodle dish was fantastic. We had one of the “combos” for the meat selection. We had beef ribeye, filet, and boneless rib. Comes with pineapple, shrooms, onion, and customary side dishes. Side dishes were good, typical cabbage radish, pickle, mashed potatoes, and I was surprised not to see fish cakes.

One thing to note is that their flavors are on the delicate side, that is, it complements to showcase the flavors of the meat, instead if overtaking over the dish. If you like dishes where you can’t tell the difference between the meats where the sauce is the showcase, then this place might not be for you.

I had the choffle, where it’s a waffle made of two whole croissants, topped with fruit and 2 scoops of ice cream. It was definitely more than I was expecting and struggled to just finish half. The croffle part was okay but their ice cream was something else wonderful.

I’m glad to find a korean bbq place that i can recommend again.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here, and everything is just as great as I remembered.
You just try seafood pancake. It’s so crunchy and really really good.
This place is definitely on the higher end when it comes to Korean BBQ. The meat is so fresh and tender, packed with flavor. My favorites are the pork belly and marinated boneless short ribs – they’re seasoned perfectly.
The atmosphere is relaxed and much quieter compared to other Korean BBQ spots, which I really appreciate.
Our waitress was good as well. She was friendly and cooked the meat well.
