I love finding places that remind me of family meals and abuela’s kitchen…this is the place! My roots were looking for a place like Bori-Bowls to be available near my home. The flavor of the food was absolutely criollo; delicious and perfectly seasoned meal. I had Mofongo with garlic chicken served in the typical PRican pilón, which I loved! Ordered a vanilla flan afterwards and that did not disappoint. Did I need it? No, but it needed a taste test (wink*). Don’t expect fast-food service. It is meant to be real home cooking, at that pace. Sit and play at the domino table, listen to some bachata or play some pool. When the food comes out, you know it’s fresh and hasn’t been sitting on the side. Oh, and the tables all have that old school knitted table cover with plastic over them like abuela had back in the day…If You Know, Ya know! They are Boricuas Pa’ que tu lo sepa!

Bori Bowls is the real deal—Puerto Rican home cooking that’ll make you forget fast food exists. I’m not Puerto Rican, but my wife is, and she dragged me here off US 27. One bite and I was hooked; I demolished the entire bowl like it was my last meal on Earth.
Picture this: fluffy cilantro rice, zesty pico de gallo, melty mixed cheese, no pinto beans (because who needs ’em?), garlic everything, toasted garlic crunch, tender chicken, and chunks of fried pork so juicy they practically burst. I washed it down with an ice-cold soda, then capped it with their coconut flan—silky, sweet, and gone in seconds. My wife went for the mofongo and scraped the plate clean. We both did.
This isn’t Taco Bell speed. Every bowl is built fresh, made-to-order, with the kind of love your abuela pours into Sunday dinner. You’ll wait a little—good. That’s the sound of passion sizzling in the kitchen. While it cooks, grab friends, claim the dominoes table, or rack up a game of pool. The vibe is pure family-owned warmth: laughter, clacking tiles, the smell of garlic drifting everywhere.
Skip DoorDash. Come in, sit down, soak it up. Bori Bowls isn’t just food—it’s a hug on a plate.

Food was 10/10
I had the carne frita with arroz con habichuelas. Sorullos were on point. The tostones were perfectly seasoned and fresh. They had an amazing garlic cilantro sauce. We will definitely be back!

We really loved the food and service! We had the Alcapurrias and they were delicious! We had the fried pork bowl with rice and red beans with tostones and it was delicious as well. I’m so happy that we have an excellent Puerto Rican restaurant in Sebring Florida! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants authentic Puerto Rican food.

I had such a great time at **Bori Bowl**! The service was absolutely amazing — everyone was so welcoming and attentive from start to finish. The food was on another level — flavorful, authentic, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the love and tradition in every bite.
A special shoutout to **Ileana**, who truly knows how to portion! Every plate was generous and beautifully served — you definitely get your money’s worth.
On top of that, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. They even have a **pool table**, which makes it a great spot to hang out with friends after a delicious meal.
If you’re looking for real Puerto Rican flavors and great vibes, **Bori Bowl** is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back! ✨

I used DoorDash so can’t comment on the actual place but the food was amazinggggg. The meat was perfectly seasoned, and the plantains etc are crispy and perfectly fried. I highly recommend ordering here as the food is fresh, as well.

Great find in a world that speaks different. The music and little ambience made a space for boricuas to be at home. I had the empanadas and were delicious. A lot of other Spanish families were ordering as well. A must.

We had chicken bowls with cilantro rice. The place was literally empty – nobody but us and the restaurant staff. Our takeout meals were delivered fast, the interior is nicer than the previous owners had – that’s about it on the good side. After 5 minutes we had our bowls and it was disappointing. I like my food hot and fresh and this one was none of it. Lukewarm, with old and chewy, dry chicken that would be a jerky in another day ot two. I am friendly and polite but the staff acted like I wasn’t really welcome and they couldn’t wait for me to leave. I tipped for our to go order. Certainly not coming back.
