Warm hikes in the summer and brisk sunshine ski laps in winter calls for soups, sandwiches, and great beverages. The Bore Tide Bar is a modern outlet offering panoramic views of Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountain Range, and seven “hanging” glaciers. The deli is a self-service dining experience featuring sandwiches, salads, chili, wraps, and snacks. A memorable way to enjoy a meal at 2,300 feet above the Turnagain Arm. A signature cocktail list allows you to purchase a meal at the deli and join us at the bar to relax! During the summer, guests can hike or mountain bike ride to the tram building. Be sure to check updated trail status openings. Your season pass gives you foot passenger access to the tram all summer and winter.

Had to buy a $48 tram ticket to the top. We had an rv, there’s no rv parking anywhere. We finally made it to the top! Tram ride was beautiful. The bar is a cool vibe, the have an excellent fresh margarita. Views are amazing everywhere you look. Woman who was working the deli was kind of rude but the bartenders were great. Not many vegetarian options, black bean burger and fried pickles. Would be back for the view and the marg. I can’t imagine how cool of a spot this is in the winter

Other reviews are right; coming up on close to an hour now waiting on a turkey sandwich and black bean burger. Bartender reassured another person that their food was coming soon, then went back to the bar and mocked that customer to the other bartender for complaining about having to wait 45 minutes for basic deli food. View is incredible but don’t waste your time here

I loved taking the tram to the deli. I enjoyed a Ruben with a patio punch drink, and all was simply delicious. I very much admired the view.

We were eating at the deli only and not the bar. Selection is a little limited, but decent choices. Prices are naturally expensive at ski, bike, hike trails at the top of a mountain. Sandwich was OK, but overall kind of a ho-hum experience.

We stopped in for a quick lunch after a hike and never anticipated 30+ minute wait times for a sandwich and chicken strips once we got through the line to order from the only staff member taking orders. The food was average but did come out hot. It became apparent that the deli is currently understaffed. Great facility but the good just didn’t match this trip. Prices are pretty steep, even for Alaska, so get the ride and dine to save about $10 per adult if also taking the tram.

Took the tram up to the top. The views were beautiful, but the service at the deli was incredibly unorganized. We waited over an hour for an order of fries, while people that ordered after us continued to get their food. One person in our party got their order in 20 mins and we waited over an hour and just to end up leaving without the second order.

Kyle was the best bar tender w have had in the past 20 states we have visited. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and helpful. He made the absolute BEST old fashioned and lemon drops w deep Eddie’s peach. Kyle himself is in the top ten reasons we are moving to Alaska. This man deserves a promotion

Stopped by for lunch on a small day trip from Anchorage sightseeing. Everyone was happy with their lunch and pricing was decent for resort location. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Highly recommend sitting on the patio weather permitting. The views in June were stunning.

For over $20 per item on the menu, you’d think the food would at least be high quality. The food takes FOREVER to come out, and the staff never seems to know what’s going on. They get the orders and numbers confused constantly. They do not have the people nor the infrastructure to support the amount of skiers that visit this lunch spot hoping for a quick bite in between runs. Really hope they get their act together because the views and location is great.
