Amazing food! Server Tori was amazing & met all of my expectations! As a server myself, Jill was very rude & not nice at all. I am never a person to tip under 20%… unfortunately with the way my group was treated by this server, I was unable to leave a good tip. Servers earn there tips & I don’t even know how she works here with the attitude we were given. The bar was great & has high potential but sadly, with that kind of service, I would not return unless I knew Tori was going to be my server. He was kind, polite & had a smile on his face.

French Dip was good just had to ask for the Dip since they didn’t give me it. Service could have been a bit more enthusiastic but it was ok.

1st time dining at BorderTown Bar and Grill today. The servers name on the receipt was Maurice. I wasn’t sure what to expect when he came up and gave us high fives, but he was very nice, helpful, and was working hard with another server. The food came out incredibly fast, and everything was hot and tasted great. They had great prices, the place was very clean, and I will definitely go back to try other menu items.

We ONLY come here on Wednesdays for the trivia. Chris is a great trivia host and is very personable and fun-loving. We eat the food which can range from 2 to 4 stars. Without trivia, we wouldn’t return and we would probably go elsewhere for food. It is a neighborhood blue collar bar.

Nothing particularly bad about this place. But the food is almost aggressively plain. And the prices are kinda out there. 9 bucks for a hot dog? Again, not bad, but absolutely not good. 50 dollars for a bland burger. Over cooked fries. A French dip. And a “poutine” that was entirely fries and gravy. For 15 dollars. Lol

Jill is absolutely the worst bartender ever. Have to wait 20min to get service from her then the service is garbage. She only serves who she likes and doesn’t serve anyone else she doesn’t like. Maurice and Tori are amazing though. Good food. Most time great service but when Jill is working she is a headache and terrible experience. Don’t recommend when she is working. Overall good place.

My boyfriend and I waited almost 30 minutes before the bartender came over and asked us what we wanted to drink and when they took our order we ordered southwest egg rolls, 3 soft shelled tacos and mushrooms never got the mushrooms very poor service

Have given this place many chances, but have decided that this spot is no longer on the lunch list. Got there early to beat the lunch rush, (like 11:15) and it still took 30 minutes or so to get our food. A burger, a wrap, a melt and a hot dog, the place wasn’t busy.

My motel was next door, so I caught a couple dinners here out of convenience. Food was good, and they had my favorite Summer Shandy on tap. Bartenders don’t check-in much, except when they notice your glass is empty- too busy with other tasks, other customers, to ask how your meal was. Bring your patience if the place is busy with locals!
