We tried Borderline for breakfast this morning and the food was great, we loved the french toast, and the chorizo burrito. However, we had no idea that a line forms outside and that’s how you wait to get into the restaurant. We walked in hoping to put our name down and they said they do not take names, just to wait in the line outside and they will seat us. Many other people thought the same as us and while we were eating, came in hoping to put their name in. A few times the staff seemed to get upset with the people walking in and were actually rude to the customers. There are no signs anywhere saying to wait outside, I feel like they need a better system so that the staff doesn’t get so flustered and so the customers aren’t confused. Definitely need to get a sign saying to wait outside.

Good service and a nice family atmosphere. Got the blueberry pancakes and they were alright. Would get some waffles next time. They gave us cookies for paying with cash which were pretty good.

So I love this restaurant run and owned by 2 biological sisters. This place is a neighborhood staple that is like a bed and breakfast morning atmosphere. Everyone is happy and excited to start their day. It is actually cozy not small and tight. Now let me speak on their chairs. I have to collapsed vertebrae and the chairs are so perfect and comfortable to me. I didn’t want to leave.

With a old-time atmosphere and highly pleasant service experience, I cannot recommend this place enough. The only thing Im upset about is that I dont live close enough to try their full menu!

Easily one one of the best breakfasts in all of Cleveland. Super friendly, fast service. Delicious, fresh ingredients. Huge, varied menu. Hot, fresh coffee. Couldn’t ask for much more. A+

How has this not showed up on best breakfast in Cleveland lists? The french toast with the cream cheese inside icing is fantastic. I also had the steak and egg sliders…. I’m sure everything else is fantastic though. Quick and super friendly service but then again it was a work week friday morning.

I had read a lot about their stuffed french toast and it was totally worth the visit. Wonderfully welcoming staff, great freshly brewed coffee and a menu full of “musts”. Bring cash, you will head home with a treat.

Found this restaurant through Google Reviews, which came highly recommended. Food and service was great. Seating is sparse and we had to wait, but definitely worth it in the end.
