Great quality food. Lots of options to build your own meal. All the ingredients are clearly high quality and fresh. Only negative feedback is using the drive through to pick up an online order. If you get stuck behind people who are window ordering it can be a LONG wait. It’s about a 10 minute wait per order if you don’t order ahead.

PRICIEST food I’ve seen in awhile! $8.25 for a taco? Food was good along with service except they forgot my queso for my nachos for a 3 item pickup.

Lots of menu options, portions are generous and service is quick. The BRC burrito is a long time favorite. I love the Tractor beverages, but was sad when mushrooms appeared on the menu and tofu disappeared.

I usually love their seafood tacos and the rice is very good. Last time I went, there was a long hair in my taco. I reached out about it, but no response. Haven’t been back since.

Their site sends the order to the wrong store and they won’t make it right after driving 15 minutes to town to pick it up. I was giving them one last chance since their food is ok at best and extremely expensive, but this latest experience is the final nail on the coffin. Just go to Taco Bell next door.

I have been a fan of the Border Grill since the first location opened in Marquette, MI in the 90s. My go-to meal is the steak quesadilla. I just love it! The chips were always a favorite too, but Border Grill had to change their chips in the last year due to a supplier no longer carrying the original product. The new chips are not as tasty to me but still aren’t bad. The remainder of the menu is still just as good as it was all those years ago. And now, there is a Houghton location too, which means I no longer have to wait to drive through Negaunee or Marquette to enjoy one of my favorite UP eateries. I highly recommend the Border Grill in all it’s locations. And they offer gift cards!!
Thanks for the wonderful food and service throughout the years!

A very good place to eat, their staff was friendly, helpful, and all around good. Some of their ordering capabilities where down for maintenance, but the ordering process was still efficient and effective. Clean facilities, very good food, still don’t know what their “salsa” was. It looked like cheese but tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup.

We never heard of Border Grill until we spent a night in Houghton. We were very impressed with their service and menu selection. We found it to be the Chipotle of the Keweenaw peninsula and so much better. The inside looks like a good sit down place making it nicer to be in than any Qdoba or Chipotle I’ve been in. Our family of seven ordered the Build A Bowl Pack and a salad. Very delicious and satisfying. We just wish a Border Grill existed in Minnesota.

Great place for some food. The burritos are excellent and offer a wide variety of options to get. Lots of salsa options. Bowls or tacos. Great UP establishment

I’d heard pretty good things about Border Grill but I’d never had a chance to try it in Marquette. Luckily they brought their good food to Houghton! The fuego quesadilla was really good and I got a LOT of food for the price.
One thing that stood out to me (which is apparently somehow *very* challenging for most restaurants here) is that the entire menu is easy to access online so I don’t have to jump through Facebook’s hoops or anything to see it, AND the menu actually lists what’s in the food so I’m not surprised with something I didn’t want when I get home to eat.
