Even better beer, with more variety than 10 different types of IPAs. I really enjoy the Pecan Brown, Sticky Paw Brown, and sometimes they have an Amber ale that is really good.
Big butcher block bar and a handful of 4 seater tables in a cozy environment. Low lights and good music (and the Patriots game) finish off the vibes.
Some cocktails, a bit pricey. Beer made in house. Husband said it was good beer. Pizza was pretty good. Lots of cheese, good crust and sauce. Needed to be cooked a little longer though. Jerk wings very good. Great BBQ sauce. Pulled pork on cornbread waffle was okay. Pork itself was tasty snd cooked well but waffle was small and flimsy almost soggy. I ate it without the waffle.
A bit pricey for what you get but willing to return to try something different. Waitresses very friendly and accommodating. A man, owner I believe came by to make sure everything was good.
Bill had a service charge on it, when I asked what it was, i was told in case i used a credit card. That is fine but why not note that is only if a card is used. If i left cash and didn’t ask, I would have paid the service charge regardless . How much extra is made through this practice?
Either way, service good, atmosphere good, some food is good and willing to try more.
First off. The Big Beef Rib plate. Get it. Melts in your mouth fall off the bone, first bite to last bite an truly fantastic beef rib experience. I smoke BBQ at home and this is a truly great restaurant level item. The Mac and cheese was very cream and rich. My wife loved it.
The Street Corn is some of the best we’ve tried. Worth having as a side. The plate comes with 2 sides pickled onions, excellent Chios that seem made in house.
This one should be on your map of great BBQ places to try.
The tell, the 2 large smokers in the back…
Next time we’ll try the pizza.
Again, this is not what you would expect when ordering brisket from a self named barbecue restaurant with all a menu heavy with bbq items.
Bacon Mac n cheese was only flavored with the bacon. The “cheese” was bland. Cornbread waffle was ok after I toasted it at home but was room temp after a 10 minute drive even though it was wrapped in foil.
Very disappointed, so much so so don’t think I could give the a second chance.
