The food was really good. We heard about a new Chef was putting out some good food in Augusta but when we looked up the restaurant it was in Thompson. We live in Aiken, SC. We went anyway as a party of 6 for date night. I tell you the food was amazing. The chef came and introduced himself and checked to see if we enjoyed the food. I had seafood pasta, my wife ordered the New York Strip, we also had the mac & cheese which was really delicious. Our friends had swordfish with black rice, Ribeye, seafood pasta and a pork chop. The pork chop had a different type of mashed potato which tasted better than the garlic mash. Overall 10/10 for the food. The waitress act like she didn’t want to be at work and didn’t feel warm. So we give that 3 stars.

This was my first time here and I will definitely be a returning customer! The staff was A1, the food was AMAZING, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The head chef, Brian Waller, even came out and introduced himself to the table. He was such a nice guy!

We ate there this evening before the rush & it was amazing. I heard it got a little rough after we left (packed, orders slow to get out). I just hope the community will show them a little grace considering they haven’t even been open a full week. Our food was great, the staff were very friendly & professional, & the atmosphere was top notch. We will definately dine there again.

Went as a party of 25…. Total disaster! It took 2 hours just to receive cold unseasoned food. You would expect some form of reconciliation none offered… This is supposed to be a “upscale” establishment maybe they are better when business is low. It appears they need help and management. Totally dissatisfied!

Love this place! The ambiance is nice and perfect for a date night. For appetizers we had the shrimp cocktail and bacon wrapped shrimp on fried green tomatoes and it was great. For meals the majority of my table ordered the seafood medallions and it was so good. Plates were clean but they went a little light on the Bernaise sauce. My fiance ordered The Chicken Cordon Bleu and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had a few bottles of champagne and those are reasonably priced. Hope was our server and did a great job at suggesting appetizers and being attentive. Can’t wait to come back.

Opening week of a potentially hidden gem restaurant. As expected. the details of service are being worked out on the go, but the kitchen however was firing on all eight cylinders, our meal exceeded our expectations, 10/10 recommend giving this place a chance with fine food and wine in mind.

As a Thomson native, the fine dining experience is very much lacking in this small up and coming town. Currently living in Charleston, one of the biggest foodie destinations of the south, Bordeaux Steak and Seafood has surpassed my expectations. This place takes you out of Thomson without ever having to leave Thomson.
