This place was soooo good. Every flavor just hit perfectly. It tasted like real, authentic Thai. The server was super sweet and attentive, and the whole place had such a cozy, homey vibe. We ended up staying for like three hours talking and laughing and they never rushed us once.
We shared pad thai, pad see ew, and yellow curry between four of us and it was the perfect amount, just enough to try everything without being too full. Definitely coming back.

Lovely place with lovely people.
I ordered drunken noodles and Thai iced coffee.
Amount: Just to give you context, I am a big guy but not a huge guy. (Trying to give you a sense)
The amount given in one order of drunken noodles was enough for me to get full. About 90% full.
Spice: I am Korean and Koreans tend to enjoy spicy foods. I ordered a medium spice and ate the chilis on the side. This is a good amount of spice! Consider ordering more spicy if you out-spice your fellow Korean friends.
Thai iced coffee: very nice! Sweet and creamy. First time trying this!
Thank you for the meal.

Nice staff and friendly atmosphere. BUT what impresses me the most is the DELICIOUS food! Freshly made and full of aroma. Beyond expectation.

This place is in my opinion completely underrated. The service may be a bit long but it’s for a good reason. Everything is absolutely delicious, flavorful and made with love. The staff is genuinely nice each time I go there; the best thai kitchen you’ll get in Thai Town with Jitlada!

Very good authentic Thai restaurant close to Griffin Observatory.
We called the restaurant ahead for a large party and they are gracious enough to host us on a busy Sunday afternoon.
The did a fantastic job of serving us. The service is very good and she served with a smile throughout without missing the beat.
The food is very good, tasty, and everything is cooked to our order. We really had a great time and enjoyed the food very much.

We hiked down from Griffith Observatory and looked for a lunch spot and found Boran Thai. The room is decorated nicely and the older man took my photo simulating getting into a tuk tuk. We had Shrimp Tom Yum soup and pad Thai – both exquisitely delicious.

Authentic Thai restaurant with generous serving and reasonable prices. My usual Thai restaurant down the street was backed up, and I didn’t want to wait an hour to be seated. Decided to give this one a try based on the positive reviews, and it did not disappoint. Will definitely work this one into my rotation.

Underwhelming for me, maybe I had a one-off experience. The pad Thai was very bland and the noodles were all stuck together/gummy. My friend got the gravy/tofu dish, which was better at least. Small restaurant with little seating. Service and staff were okay. Portions were good. For the price I had hoped for more.

I ordered the panang curry and I split a large bowl of chicken tom yum soup with a few friends. Both dishes were flavorful and fragrant. The tom yum had the perfect amount of sourness and spiciness – the type of flavor that one could remember after months of trying it for the first time. The panang curry was well balanced – just the perfect amount of coconut milk used. I will return to this place soon.

Amazing food matched with amazing service. Our meal was so delicious, cooked perfectly and just the right level of spice. We had red curry, spicy Tom kha soup, pad Thai, papaya salad, drunken noodles and finished off with mango sticky rice. Would definitely go back again
