Had a very lovely experience at bora bora. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars ⭐️ has to do with the fact that 1) it’s expensive.. and 2) it’s wayyy toooo sweet. Of course I know it’s a treats & sweets place… but the amount of chocolate and other toppings makes the food unbearable to eat. I had a good time with my family regardless… and the location is soo beautiful inside. Will visit again sometime in the future

This is my first time here, and I have to say I absolutely love the atmosphere! It is so pretty inside and it’s so clean. The staff was super nice.
The only negative thing that I could say was that it did take a long time to get the food even though we were the only ones in there and for what we bought it was really expensive. I thought we were going to get these like full sandwiches and they were these little tiny bitty appetizers.
We also ordered drinks the refreshers and they were so good. I highly suggest to get them with water not with lemonade because they are very sweet. But my first time there and I definitely will be going back. Also you can sign up for points and earn free food.

Kept seeing this place advertised on social media and decided to stop by! Enjoyed the ‘#5 Lotus Biscoff Milkshake’ and it was sweet & delicious.

I absolutely love this place. Truely a pleasant surprise from the outside. It was very welcoming. The staff were really nice. Ahmad and Malak were great. The survive was awesome. I will definitely be back and will recommend to others. My Granny loved the coffee and my Very Berry Coconut was delicious. It was just what I needed to start my day. Thank you.

This place is everything a smoothie lover, fruit bowl lover, waffle lover, juice lover, crepe lover, acai bowl lover…you get the idea? Like I said, it’s everything.
Can we start by just how pretty it is. It’s ornate, yet subtle. With a beautiful water feature in the middle, lovely booths along the walls and floor to ceiling windows. Slate floors and everything is sparkling clean.
I’m an acai bowl fanatic, so of course that’s what I ordered. I had the #1 which is acai, bananas, strawberries, goji berries, blueberries, granola and honey. I substituted almond butter for the goji berries. I also had a strawberry cream cheese croffle with Nutella. GOODNESS! Everything was just amazing. And the acai bowl was a very generous size and price. I paid less than $20.00 for everything and that included my water. I am sad that I’m leaving Chicago AND Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe! Lol! Damn!
Oh and my picky eating friend who had NEVER even heard of acai let alone had a bowl, is already planning to return since she lives in the area. I’m jealous
Y’all better keep patronizing them because I will definitely be back when I return to Chicago and that will be soon!

I’m so hooked that I’d have Bora Bora at my wedding, birthdays, and any event I host. Their menu options feel endless, and they’re always dropping something new. The consistency is unmatched — same quality every time, and the staff are always on point.
