The menu here is honestly the best on the coast, but asking/pressuring customers for tips in the drive thru is really awkward, especially when they ask before they serve you. They have a sign that says tips aren’t expected so I skipped tipping them just once (after tipping many many times) and it reflected in the quality of my order. Every time I tipped ahead of time my order was perfect, but the one time I didn’t tip before they served me, my ice cream was totally melted. I personally won’t be going back for these reasons.

Update 8/4/2023: the cherry bomb I had with the lactose free ice cream was atrocious. Tastes like nut extract. Very much below several of the delicious concoctions I’ve had over the years. Really bad!!!

Really good custard here. Was passing through town and decided to stop in….so did everyone else! Which tells me lots of other folks agree that it’s a great place. Reasonably priced for custard- cheaper than going to marble slab. Girl at the register was super friendly and helpful and by the time I had finishing paying, my order was ready….super fast. Great place to stop in for dessert.
