Well I went in with high expectations. I will say the food was not bad it was good. It wasn’t the best but there really is no best for the variety of palettes we all have. The ranch was very watered down and the bbq sauce was more ketchup than anything it kind of reminded me of sweet and sour sauce. The fries were fried well not too much and not limp and the chicken wings were good and flavored well. The bbq meat was tender and done very well…the mac and cheese was creamy and good…the baked beans were flavored well….so in all there were some good things and only a few that left more to be desired. For the price no I don’t think it was that great. What I have pictured was 59 dollars that’s the food and 2 teas…the lady at the desk was super nice and answered every question wonderfully. I appreciate the professionalism.

Just needed to check out more of our local businesses owners and lorddddd was this a good choice. We decided to check out Bootsie’s in Downtown Attalla , when I first walked in they welcomed me such beautiful smiles! We ordered wings , and a bbq sandwich, a kids meal and an appetizer (loaded fries) for all of us to share. Let me just start off by saying the wings were delicious , from what my husband said “These wings are better than ********** “ I’m not going to name the restaurant but I like their wings too but these are better. The seasoning and the crispness of the wings were just perfect. Looking forward to bringing my family to this good BQQ place.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. We went last night, because they were donating a percentage of the sale to our grandsons football team future trip. OMGOODNESS, I can not say enough about how wonderful the food is here. I had the fully load fries, and they were out of this world! My husband had the loaded nachos, and he’s already wanting to go back. Their barbecue meat was tender, full of flavor, and amazing! The prices are reasonable, especially for the food you receive. The employees are friendly, and professional. I can’t wait to go back to try their ribs and banana pudding.

Oh my! When you go visit your husband’s hometown and stomping grounds, it’s always fun to try new places…and Bootsie’s is an absolute local gem…not to be missed!
We were quickly greeted on an unusually slow Friday night (football night) and were in for an absolute treat! From the kind servers, to the cook…they were literally one big happy family! You could tell they love to cook and you can feel it in their home cooking!
Everything our table of 9 ordered was outstanding…freshly prepared and full of flavor!
The two appetizers were incredible…Fried banana peppers and fried bacon wrapped pickles! They sound weird but were fantastic! Fried, crispy and absolute perfection.
Absolute standouts included the pork ribs (come early before they sell out), white mac n cheese, chicken quesadilla, Bootsie’s dog (sausage dog with BBQ), and even the kids meal were homemade chicken nuggets.
Took a banana pudding and key lime pie to go. Amazing!!!!
Just come here…no matter how far the drive (we came from Oregon) to get here!

I ordered 8oz pulled pork sandwich, 6 wings all flats mild buffalo with fries, fried pepper rings with a side of each bbq sauce.
I was not disappointed with any of it- I will say I eat pepper rings out of the jar for a snack but fried was a little different to me and I had to try them. May be an acquired taste for some.
The pulled pork was phenomenal, perfect smoky flavor, bark looked amazing and it was piled high making it a great option for the price! The wings were fried to perfection! Crispy skin, beautiful juicy meat inside and the mild sauce was a wonderful flavor option with great flavor! Fries were seasoned and tasted great! The bbq sauces are mouth watering! If I’m ever back in the area I will be back here for sure!
