Have not had the chance to try the restaurant, they are only open during summer. However, the butcher shop that owns the restaurant has the best hands down smoked meat out there! Will definitely be back!

Always a thrill to discover fun and creative cafes during my travels both near and far. Enter Boots and Lu’s Cafe on Main Street in Nerstrand, MN, population 295. Boots and Lu’s Cafe is super cozy and very welcoming with good food, desserts, ice cream, coffee and espresso drinks, with fun signage and colorful artifacts everywhere you look. Even a backroom for card playing by the locals. Special thanks to Dana for making us feel so welcome. Keep up the great work! Until next time!

We are just driving through to the falls and the little mom and pop place is amazing if you’re in the area and there are open stop in it is worth it I had a sandwiches and my husband has a pizza and we got some homemade chocolate chip cookie and some ice-cream

Wow! Was this place nice. My wife and I had Saturday lunch there. This cafe had an extremely warm atmosphere. We ate in a very lovely room in the back section, This is a very small business, so the menu is limited. The food was great! This was by far the most friendly restaurant/cafe that we have ever been in. Many who work there are family members. They were extremely welcoming, and made us feel like family. I highly recommend this place. Before going, you might want to find out what main dish they are serving that day. We are looking forward to going again soon!

If I could give it 10 stars i would for sure! Amazing food and the employees are wonderful and always welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the decor is so cool with all the old time pictures of the meat markets history. Definitely a great edition to this wonderful community!

Stopped in for breakfast on Sunday. Limited selection but very good. Bacon is made on premise. A+ on the bacon and meat sticks. Coffee drinks were very reasonable.
