Bootlegger and Busted Oak are related with Busted Oak being the speakeasy down the sidewalk.
Bootlegger makes the food….their marinara sauce is the BEST EVER! I buy extra (8 oz = $4)
Atmosphere is great in both but Busted Oak serves everything ‘to go’ style. I like that its a speakeasy and atmosphere is great but wish they had a shared kitchen in the same building with Bootleggers so they could serve on real plates and not have to walk the food from Boitleggers, down the sidewalk to Busted Oak.

The server was confused and didn’t put our appetizer in with our meal order. After waiting 20 minutes, we asked when our garlic knots would be out, and she left to check. She said that they didn’t start the order and she wasn’t sure why. Within 15 mins, we got our meal chicken parmigiana (breading was soggy) and a pizza. The pizza was average. The spaghetti had ok sauce, but that was it. I was supposed to have a side salad (usually brought before the meal). Then we got the garlic knots, and they were not cooked through. They were doughy on one side and burnt on another, so we sent them back and just wanted few breadsticks. They took 30 more minutes to get. It was very underwelming.

Food is just ok. Service wasn’t bad. We had an early lunch so it wasn’t crowded. For the price it was fine. Not a place I would recommend if you’re craving pizza directly. It’s good but it’s not over the top.

Ordered wings they were all drums, Alfredo didn’t have enough sauce. Pizza is definitely the best thing.

Visited for first time on 12/14/25. I ordered the Bugsby. The pizza hardly had any cheese, the ham was so tiny you could barely see it (tiny diced pieces) and barely any sauce. Had to ask for marinara due to being dry. Overall not a good pizza. Would not recommend.

Great little place in downtown Albertville. Love the look and theme. Spinach dip, popcorn’s pizza, manicotti and bread bowl Alfredo were great.

Loved this place! We came in from out of town to see a show at the amphitheater. We made sure to get there around 4:30 to beat the dinner crowd (no clue how it is at dinner time).. we were seated right away. We ordered the pretzel for an app and it was Delicious! The. Ordered a large Dillinger pizza. It was very delicious also! Would 100% go back! Staff was very friendly. I believe the owner even checked on us.

Let me start off by saying the food was really good! I went in at lunch time and they weren’t that busy. I was greeted promptly by a waitress and told I could sit anywhere I wanted. She then took my drink order. I was then passed off to a different server (Ella) who brought my drink and took my food order (Artisan Italian sandwich). She wasn’t very friendly and seemed annoyed to be serving me. My food came out pretty quickly. The part that really annoyed me was she brought my check after only a few bites. Talk about giving a customer the impression you want them gone. I guess ordering anything else wasn’t going to be an option. I would come back for the food, and hopefully would get a server with a better attitude.

Good food at a good price! Team was attentive and quick! Buffet was delicious! Maybe some music would help, but being able to watch the team cook and sling pizzas was a cool experience!
