INSANE bagels. Ben knows what he’s doing. Bagels baked so fresh that they’re literally handed to you warm, super soft and pillowy, just the right chewiness that you expect from a NY bagel. Clearly baked with love. Might be the best bagels I’ve ever had, even measured against actual NYC bagels. Just look at the coverage of that everything seasoning!! An impenetrable fortress of deliciousness.

Very yummy! I’ve missed a good bagel. We tried the two specialty bagels (jalapeño cheddar and salted chocolate rye) and they were delicious! I’d classify the cinnamon crunch as a dessert it was a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be getting more!

Literally just picked up the bagels, but they smelled so go I had to eat one on the way home. They’re so delicious- soft and chewy with a great flavor. Plus there was a very friendly dog waiting out front who I spent several minutes petting. I very reluctantly told the dog I had to stop petting her so I could get my bagels, and she was gracious enough to get up and lead me to the correct door. I would order the bagels again just to hang out with the dog.
The bagels are great though and the guy making them is really friendly and nice. I might sneak some away from husband and bring them into workajust so others can share in the the joy.

Moved to the village after living in Miami, FL. I used to frequent NYC and as everyone knows, they are known for great bagels. However, these are the best bagels I’ve ever had. It’s awesome to ride my bike, pick up the bagels and have them still be hot and fresh when I get home. And a friendly dog to boot!

Amazing bagels! Seriously best I’ve had. My dad said “He makes bagels into an art form”. We loved them. We had the Salt, Everything and Cinnamon Crunch. Couldn’t recommend these more!

Ben is an amazingly innovative baker, his bagels are unique and perfect EVERY TIME I DON’T KNOW HOW HE DOES IT. If you’re passing through YS it is more than worth your while to put in an order and stop by his house to pick up the greatest bagel invention you will ever eat. And all for $2 each. Be still my beating heart I LOVE THESE BAGELS

NW Jersey has some great ones and out on Long Island they have great bagels. Barry’s Bagels is a decent alternate if you are hurtin’ locally. But if you try these, you will see that Bootleg Bagels is another level above them all.

Fresh, New York style bagels in Ohio??? YES.
Ben is the GOAT of bagel chefs. I can never make it back home without eating a warm bagel in the car. So good, worth every penny.

Ridiculous. These are actually Bagels. May sound strange but, whatever you’ve been consuming at Starbucks, Tim Hortons or Panera are NOT bagels. They are bread in ring form. I lived in Cleveland for a while and Bootleg nailed it. Plus the dog has David Bowie eyes.

I am ruined for all other bagels. Plus, is there any better text to receive than one that lets you know your bagels just came out if the oven and are ready to be picked up?!
