Yum May Zing!
I was there on a Friday. I got the fish special. The picture below is my dinner.
The partially empty plate is the point of being stuffed.
I’m usually asking for extra fish. I was full. I sipped on my delishious sweet tea, and out of shear will power managed to find room for their cheese cake!
You can see from the photo, that it is thicker than my fork. Full flavor, fluffy center, party in my mouth!!
I did end up ordering more – to go!
Go. Just eat here.

Service was great, barbecue was tasty and the cheesecake tasted like heaven! Stopped in for lunch off of highway 44 and the food was great! We got a pork sandwich, brisket, and a spud and finished it off with sweet tea and a huge piece of cheesecake!

Excellent food. I had the brisket plate and that meat will just melt in your mouth. It is cooked to perfection. Service is excellent and they make you feel very welcome.

I had the pulled pork plate with cole slaw and potato salad with lemonade (free refills) and my husband had the brisket sandwich plate with cole slaw and baked beans with lemonade. Deeeeicious!! Fantastic service. And yes, we finished with the cheesecake!

This is an excellent place to try if you’re looking for BBQ. I’ve had the ribs before and they were tasty. I recently had their 1/4 pork burger and it was excellent. I took home a piece of cherry pie and it tasted like it was homemade. Very generous portions. They are currently adding on to the building so their cramped seating should be getting an upgrade. It’s great to see a local business expand like that!

Well cooked, with more than generous portion sizes. My only wishes are for more sides (like fries) added to the menu, and I was slightly disappointed they only offer Sweet Baby Ray’s and not a greater variety of sauces. Not that this is at all a deal-breaker! Just a suggestion. Pork steak was good, and the smothered baked potato was great

Today’s special is fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans! Great food….not greasy!! Salads are awesome! BBQ is Texas style….dry. Their sauce is great. They have fried catfish plates on Wednesday and Fridays. I haven’t had a bad thing yet! Give them a try…you won’t regret it!
