1st time eating here, I wasn’t really impressed with the food. I got bang bang shrimp and honestly it had no flavor at all, hubby got the surf and turf poboy, it was ok. Appetizers were nothing to really brag about but we did enjoy our time here.
The atmosphere was full of locals with friendly and attentive staff. Gave a really friendly vibe of community.

I went here because I wanted a fish plate after work. The young lady over the phone was nice. When I picked up the fish plate it was $20 for what they called a “fish platter”. It was about 6 little slivers of the thinnest pieces of catfish (Looked like shrimp on the plate) with one small scoop of potato salad. It was suppose to also come with bread but it wasn’t even on the plate. I wouldn’t consider this a platter at all. It wasn’t even in a regular to-go plate. It was in a half size to-go plate. Overpriced and not enough food for that price tag. When I questioned the girl and a lady who walked up to the drive thru the girl seemed annoyed that I was even asking the question. The lady answered me and then I drove off. I would never go here again. The food was mid at best and salty!

Love this place. Great food, staff are always so nice. We ordered the boudin egg rolls, shrimp stew, and the surf and turf po boy.

Great seafood and poboys. They literally have everything on their menu and everything is delicious. The wait time for food was not long at all, especially considering they were dealing with a party of 30 people coming in. I will definitely be back.

It’s a hole in the wall cafe in a hole in the wall town. The foods messy but filling. The iced tea is Milos from Walmart, watched them pour it out of the gallon jug. Service is decent, food is slow. My remoulade was dated from 10 days prior. Seating is limited and there is a bathroom door next to a table. It’s popular, but not anything special. The atmosphere is forrest gump meets redneck trailer park.

On our trip along the Gulf Coast from Ft. Walton Beach, FL. To Corpus Christi, TX. We decided we had to check out Boot Ts in Boutte, LA. What a gem! Everyone was so nice. A perfect local vibe. The daiquiri menu is insane. As always, I went traditional with a pina colada while Sharon went for the white Russian and both were fantastic. We both had the special, shrimp creole, green beans and potato salad. I think everyone in the restaurant ordered the creole. I have to believe that everything on the menu is as good as the daiquiris, creole and green beans. Oh yeah, Sharon loved the potato salad. Unfortunately, I don’t eat mayo.

This was given as a food recommendation after our gator ride and it was all delicious food. The overall experience was so fun too. I have a look alike and was mistaken for a local and made some new friends who gave us some other ideas of places to explore and see. The Po Boy sandwiches are so delicious! The gumbo was delicious too and then we finished by trying the beignets. Some compare them to a donut flavor . They are served warm with a crunchy outside and soft inside and sprinkled with powdered sugar. I’m not really a fan of donuts, but these I could do. It reminds me of a slightly sugared croissant shaped like a square. Thank you for such delicious food !

Another successful lunch. We had the shrimp salad, red beans and rice and the catfish platter with fries. Everything was good but everything was on the pepper side.
6-11-2025 visited today for lunch. I had the fried catfish plate. Not the best, but buy far the worst catfish. They had a pickle taste that wasn’t bad. Excellent spiced fries. My guest had the special, French roast beef sandwich with fries. They said it was very good. My other guest had the shrimp po-boy with onion rings. The onion rings & po-boy were ok.

We stopped by after work and on the way back to MSY. Everyone was friendly, despite us not being locals (evident by my Iowan transplant partner asking “what is dressed” when ordering his poboy). The vibes are good and the food is even better. The worst part about not living in Louisiana anymore is missing out on food like this. We’ll be back!

Great food and service. Had the crawfish and some snow crab it wasn’t super spicy but it was super flavorful. It had enough of a kick that everyone in the family can enjoy. The crab was boiled perfectly so easy to get the meat out. The owner came out and talked with us this place is such a family oriented place.
