I hate the phrase “dive bar”.
So what. It’s small, Abit worn and dim inside.
Maybe even you can call it ragged.
Ignore all that, in my view, a bar is just a smaller pub, your neighborhood hangout.
Which this place is. Bottle beer, rail booze, frozen pizzas, pool tables and darts with good music. An experience in The Local Hangout.
Even at the busiest, this place remains fun.
When it is slow, like this late Thursday, you get a quiet respite from life where you can grab a bottle or booze your way for a fair price, and just relax and feel better.
The busy times, it is rowdy; loud and chaotic.
But that is fine. Like stones in a stream where everything gathers.
Ebb and flow, this place is great.

This bar is right in my neighborhood so I decided to stop in tonight, have a drink and watch the Brewers game. I sat at the bar for 5 minutes and there was no bartender behind the bar. Then presumably the bartender which turns out is sitting in the seat next to me, looked right at me and continue to drinking his drink and talking to the other patrons. In fact the bars house phone rang and he completely ignored it saying it’s probably just telemarketers. Anyways, I simply walked out the door and he could of cared less. You’re certainly not going to gain any new customers this way.

I used to live next door to this bar. It was Happy Daze way back then. Awesome mural on the back wall of Happy Daze. The bartender (Big Willy Style) was so fun and friendly. We played some dice and enjoyed a fun day. Congratulations to Will on his new job! Sad he won’t be our bartender anymore.

Simple little West Allis bar. Drinks are cold and made right, and the beer is ice cold. The bar tenders are friendly and courteous.

Boosters is a great bar. I go there after work to unwind. Have a couple beers before bed. The bartenders are all great. Very attentive. They have free pool, punching game, video gambling games, bar dice, and shake of the day. Very entertaining. Just the right place to take your mind off things before you go home and head to bed. Their afternoon crowd is also great. Quiet but fun if that’s what you’re looking for.q

Nice bar. Good selection of alcohol. But the bartender didn’t pay attention to the crowd. I waited 10 minutes to get my second beer, and that was with calling his name and waving my bottle when he walked by.
