Alcohol on Sunday. Clean Restrooms. Clean establishment. Food was great and so was service. Great Value. Stopped by Boo’s Roadhouse in historic Winfield, Tennessee on Sunday for some wings and a Philly Cheesesteak. Tried the new Sweet Chili wing sauce, on the owner’s recommendation, and it was perfect. Beer was cold and price is pleasant. Plenty of parking and seating. Carry out is available and there is a full service liquor bar on site. Several televisions about the place.
Unfortunately I forgot to enquire about discounts, veteran. EMS. First Responders. Etc.
Woke/Political/Religious Non-observant. Pleasant Atmosphere.
Boo’s Roadhouse is geographically located in one of the most well recognized historic areas of Tennessee directly between the burial location of Jerome Boyett and Harvey Winchester, two of the victims of The Cumberland River Coal War. So it’s a perfect place for a refreshing drink when you’re touring the scene of one of East Tennessee’s greatest stories.

It’s a fun place with wicked friendly staff and great drinks.
My husband and I have been in three times and consider Boo’s to be a good “local hang out”. The staff is super friendly, kind, and drinks are awesome. The wings are great, cheese curds are amazing, and the steak sub was one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time. Even the night with like no cooks food was still hot and servers were doing awesome. I was a little disappointed when my pizza came out with the wrong toppings on it, but mistakes happen. My only hesitation was the fact that the toppings were removed and the new topping was added (as someone who’s family has owned restaurants in the past this isn’t how we would do things in case of allergies but I did not specify an allergy so no harm no foul). I was bummed because the flavor of the banana peppers were still over powering the pizza. The cheese also wasn’t melted. I didn’t even finish a slice. I really appreciate how the staff “made it right” and without asking, comped the pizza. Mistakes happen, and I really do appreciate the accountability. Atmosphere and staff is what makes or breaks a restaurant and you guys do have a great vibe. Definitely will return, but try something new and just won’t order a pizza again.

A regular roadside place in the middle of nowhere, but the food was decent, We ordered fried cauliflower and fried mushrooms with a small loaded potato skins. The fried food was crispy and the skins really were loaded and with actual bacon. The bar was empty and the staff was surprised we sat at the bar without ordering alcohol, however in the course of our meal , several more people arrived. To be fair , we stopped in the middle of the afternoon.
The place was clean though, the staff friendly, the male bar tender a bit ditzy but competent. The ladies were bustling with several tables seated at once. We went home with extra food from the portions being so big. Not bad for a place on the way but out of the way.

Stopped after hiking, for beverages and appetizers. Clean, pleasant atmosphere, decent screens for Sunday football, and cold beer & good drinks – good value, price wise. Wait staff, Ash, excellent, friendly, attentive, and quick. Ordered three apps – stuffed potatoes, decent. ‘Straw onions’ and ‘chips & salsa’ were, however, about the worst the six of us had ever had. Did not finish. That said, would return for drinks but a tad leary about jumping in on the full food menu.

My husband and I have been coming to Boo’s even BEFORE it was Boo’s… when it was “Murf’s.” We go to Boo’s WEEKLY. The beer is always ICE COLD, the staff and owner is always super FRIENDLY, the food is always of large portions and DELICIOUS! We love the ATMOSPHERE and the bathroom is always CLEAN! We could always go to Knoxville or Oakridge but choose to always come to Boo’s where we feel WELCOME and leave feeling satisfied. When our grandkids are in town they ALWAYS want to go to BOO’S! They love it as well!

After a Saturday trip to Stern’s Railway with a group of work friends. We were all ready to eat. We had very large group of 16 adults and 5 children, so I called ahead to make sure they had room for us. They assured us they did and let us know there was Kareok that night. We arrived and had the best time! The owners were dressed as Charlie Brown and Lucy! One of our group had a birthday and they brought out 4 slices of Lava Cake with ice cream and helped us sing! Our kiddo’s left with pumpkins! The owners were amazing, the staff all very friendly, food was delicious and they mean it when they say Food, Fun and Friends. Any time we get a chance we will be back!

The food was good. However, it wasn’t what I ordered. I was in town for work, on lunch with coworkers. We could only be out for about an hour. I ordered their signature burger, they brought me some onion sliders. They told me they would make my original order or give me the sliders. I took the sliders due to time restraints. I got an appetizer as well. They charged me full price for my app and the sliders. Which I felt was kinda ridiculous. Total came out to around $25. I don’t think I’ll stop there again.

I love this place, but I think the servers could be a bit more organized so that things run a bit smoother…It’s fairly new so, I think they’ll get there. Every single employee and the owners are awesome nice and we love this place. We go there frequently. Clean and welcoming place with a great menu!

*** This happened to my daughter a former employee and her friend **** ( The owner Dayna isnt fit to run a business) PSA! DO NOT go to boos roadhouse. I have never in my life been so appalled and disgusted by a business owner. Me and my friends went up there tonight to order some food, sat down got fountain drinks and the owner came up to us and asked “are you guys getting food?” Then proceeded to raise her voice at my friend who used to work there and say “AND TELL YOUR MOM TO DELETE THAT COMMENT MADE ABOUT ME!” That was made on a post about the disrespect she has shown to other people. We ignored her even though it was very upsetting. Considering we are minors and this is a VERY GROWN woman. We still ordered our food trying to give her the benifit of the doubt and she still ruined our entire dinning exprience. Then she proceeded to walk around the bar and practically yell about us being there and what she just did to a group of people while pointing and staring at our table. We tried to ignore it and wait on our food. We walked around and played some games because she was staring at us and making us very uncomfortable. After a long wait on our food, our very sweet waitress comes back she goes to sit our food down and we just ask to put them into to-go boxes and have to-go cups for our drinks. After they put our food into them and while we are trying to pay the owner continues to harass us and yell “There is 17 year olds in here who need to leave! They need to leave now! I want them out!” While pointing at us again. Over and over again. Another very sweet hardworking waitress comes over and apologizes on her behalf. We get our food and leave. This is the 3rd time I have ever been here I will never go back. She has ruined our exprience or at least mine every single time. The way she treats her workers and her customers is absolutely horrible. I feel so much empathy for everyone who has or is working for her. But seriously I will never go back to this awful place EVER again.
