The place is vibrant and the service is quick. This is one Thai restaurant where the basil flavor is perfect. My favorite is the Spicy Basil fried rice. The curries have more coconut milk flavor and are mild, I personally prefer a stronger flavor and color. The lunch portions are great!

Boonsee Thai Kitchen: A Hidden Gem with a Few Twists
Boonsee Thai Kitchen is a small, clean establishment that offers big flavor and excellent service. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portion sizes, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal.
We ordered four dishes to share and were impressed with the quality and flavor of each. The Pad See Eww, while good, wasn’t the best we’ve had. We missed the leafy broccoli that typically adds a nice texture and flavor to the dish. Still, it was a solid 6/10.
The Garlic Riblets were a standout. Cooked to perfection, they were well-seasoned and incredibly hot! A definite crowd-pleaser, earning an 8/10.
The Spicy Beef Salad was another favorite, offering a refreshing and flavorful combination of beef and vegetables. However, we wished there was a bit more beef to balance out the veggies.
The Spicy Egg Noodles were a delightful surprise. The savory flavor and good kick had us sweating but couldn’t stop eating. We’d definitely order them again, giving it an 8.5/10.
The service at Boonsee Thai Kitchen was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. If you’re looking for a delicious and affordable Thai meal, we highly recommend giving this place a try.

I was impressed by how attentive the 2 waiters were and how quickly our food came. It felt like we barely sat down and our drinks, appetizer, and main course came one after the other in quick succession.
The plastic covers on our boba drinks were cute and the waitress even helped us stab our straws into them.
The food was tasty and the portions were big enough for us to have leftovers to take home.
Since it’s at a strip mall tucked away in a corner away from the street, it might be easy to miss, but it’s definitely worth a visit.

Came for dinner and ordered chicken pad thai, papaya salad, spicy seafood soup and spicy glass noodle. Pad thai = was alright but missing the char. Broccoli’s were hard. Maybe a tad longer being blanch would help. Papaya salad = not Laos style so ofc I miss the darkness. Got a medium and it wasn’t spicy at all. Not bad I guess. Spicy seafood soup = was more sour than spicy. Seems to also just be a seafood mix you can get at any supermarket. Spicy glass noodle = also not spicy at all. Food was alright. Our table was also super sticky for some reason.

This is the closest Thai food near me, I usually go to one in Ontario but I was sick so didn’t feel like Driving. Whenever I feel sick I got the Tom Kha soup. The soup looked delicious but was actually not spicy at all & the chicken was meh, the only other thing they put was mushrooms. Maybe I’m spoiled at my regular spot (& a couple other spots I’ve gotten this soup at) but it didn’t have any other veggies & like one strand of cilantro. I couldn’t taste the lemongrass at all & even asked if it came with it. Since my soup wasn’t spicy & they hadn’t checked on me since I sat down I went to the counter to ask for chilli powder. I was ignored, the restaurant was busy but not busy enough to justify them not checking on me while I was sitting down OR to ignore me once I got up. People at another table even told the server to help me first as I had been waiting a long time. I would not come here again, I felt like I wasted my money & would’ve driven an extra 10 min somewhere else with better food and service. I’m actually sad that I wasted my money, hopefully it still helps me with the flu.

Hidden Gem. Ordered Pad Kee Mao and chicken laard and Tom Ka. Everything was so tasty. We asked for spicy and they delivered. And the owner was super nice and gave my son a complementary Taro smoothie with Boba. Warmed my heart! New favorite place in Norco!!
