I really like Boonedogs! I’ve come here twice, and both times have been fun!
Today, I got a hot dog and it was DELICIOUS. The hot dog was great quality, and I liked being able to customize it to my taste (I just had beer cheese on mine, but they have a lot of options). They have a LOT of customization options, as well as signature hot dogs to try. They have other options besides hot dogs, too. Their drinks are good, too! The cocktails are fun and they have a good selections of draft beers, etc.
The servers/employees are nice and attentive. I have not had any bad experiences with them. I also one time needed to move tables three times, and I appreciated their flexibility, as they understood and were not rude.
The atmosphere is super cool! It is an indoor-outdoor space, with many picnic tables, outdoor lights and patio space, and a garage-esque indoor area. It feels very laid back and casual, but not run-down. It is a cool vibe, and fun to check out, especially on a day with nice weather!!

I absolutely love this place; I always try to stop by when I’m going down to Kentucky. They love dogs here, which already would’ve been enough for me to give them my business, but their food and drinks are just fantastic, as well. I highly recommend the cheesesteak dog!

We attended Boondogs for the first time. They had a pop up Christmas display that was beautiful! The prices were very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a fun experience. Definitely will go back again!

Such a cool place to get drinks and food. The wings were best I’ve had in a long time. Hot dogs were good. Boone Fries were delicious. The service was great too even though the waitress was from Tuscaloosa (jk.. War Eagle). Definitely recommend checking this hidden gem out!

So ill start off by saying this, great hangout place for alot of other people and great service, just really wasn’t for me. So as a hotdog and chicken wing connoisseur i can say the hotdog was about a 4 out of 10 for me bun was a little crunchy on the bottom but other than that it is eatable i got it chili, cheese and onion. So for the wings i been hearing about the blackberry habanero wings so i decided to get 15 of them as well, the wings were slightly over good still good though, and the blackberry habanero was not my flavor at all but i wanted to see what they was hitting on. The wings to me would have been alot better with just a buffalo, which they do offer… you should def still go try this place cause it may be different for you. It just was not for me. 35.00 for a hotdog and wings as well. I prolly would still go there and hangout and get something different to eat to try.

Update 7.23.3035: We have went back to Boonedogs multiple times. We have never had any bad food or bad service. I usually go for a dog but I plan to try the burger next time. My mom was in town and we took her here. She LOVED the burger and she said this restaurant needs to be added to the “rotation” for places we go when she is in town. The burger was so juicy it was dripping.

We were not disappointed in the food or the service. Our server was great and as I watched the other wait staff, I noticed that they were all upbeat, friendly, and genuine. You can’t find that a lot of places. They had a good setup with yard games and a stage for live music. We got the food in a timely manner and it had good flavors. I LOVED the bread for the hot dog. It’s not what you would typically think of when you think of a hot dog bun. The Boone fries were delicious and had a perfect ratio of toppings.

My husband and I hosted our wedding welcome party at Boonedogs in May 2025, and it was perfect in every way. Since many of our guests traveled long distances and had never been to Kentucky, we wanted a venue that was spacious, welcoming, and had that unmistakable Kentucky charm. We also envisioned an open-house style gathering where guests could come and go as they pleased—and Boonedogs delivered exactly that.
Kasey was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We had dedicated servers, and the food and drinks came out quickly and flawlessly.
