This was my first time there, should’ve done a research and read reviews before going. We left at halftime to go to another spot in old town. The service was poor, though they could’ve been shorthanded. The food was marginal at best. And this is definitely considered a dive bar. It’s old and dated, But if you’re looking for a dive bar, you won’t be disappointed. For us, we had higher expectations. We were looking for something a little bit nicer so that falls on us for not doing our research and reading reviews. I was told friends that they have a great patio, It is large, however it’s rundown. It definitely needs an update. But I guess that’s the charm for people who like it, unfortunately for us, no one in our group wanted to stay past lunch.

Boondocks was beyond amazing! To start, we walked in sound 7:00pm. The crowd was medium, we seated ourself and were promptly grated by a server. From here on out I was overly impressed. We order beer, appetizers, food, another kind of beer – the service was absolutely amazingly quick! All the way around we were very impressed!! Great place!

Stay away from this place! Absolutely horrible night. The music selection is terrible, nobody dancing. And then security is going to have there drunk wife there on everyone…I had no idea she’s married and to the dang security. All the sudden I’m getting pushed up on by her jealous husband I assume and escorted out the door. Waste of time and the worst club experience I ever had. They don’t know anything about business because I was in there buying me and women drinks with a pocket full of cash.

Not bad at all! Decent vibes, lots of space, digestible menu and relatively attentive staff. A bit pricey in my opinion. My nachos weren’t anything to write home about but my counter really liked their meals, buffalo cauliflower, veggie something meat lovers omelette and hash browns. Several games were playing and the jams kept me moving. Recommend!
