First time here, the food and service were good. BUT, I do think it was kinda pricey and upon walking in the dining area was incredibly dark. Not in a low light fancy or romantic, restaurant way, but like a dingy, they need to invest in some lighting kinda way. Usually this wouldn’t be something I’d bother to mention or bring up but the restaurant looked closed when we first got there (within an hour after opening) and the interior decor with hardly any lights just made this place feel kinda sketchy or rundown. But like I said, the food and service were good. So I would eat here again but it wouldn’t be my first choice due to environment and price.

I realize it is a bar/restaurant like atmosphere. It’s a bar, we get it, but it is also a place to go relax and enjoy a meal. You could at least have the decency to tell your loud regular customers to tone it down a bit. That might help the new customers that are getting established in the community to want to come back. Food was over priced and we have never been to a place that serves a BBQ plate that there wasn’t some type of bread included.

Best burger I’ve ever had! And the fries were amazing also. I honestly didn’t think you could make a burger any better but chef Angel did it. Had a double cheeseburger on the go. I’m not sure what they did it to make it so good. Maybe it was the toasted bun or the seasoning? Or maybe it was just made with love for the food that they cook! But whatever it was, I will be going back for another.

WOW, this is a great place in the Shell Knob area to dine! I tried the pork belly burnt ends with roasted potatoe salad, and cornbread casserole… delicious! The inside atmosphere is first class for the country area.

If you like good barbeque this is the place too go! The ribs were amazing and falling off the bone. Barely even needed any sauce! Would definitely go back here.

Food was good, we waited 1.5 hours for it. Fries were cold. My wife had to watch us eat for 30 minutes past the extremely long wait we already had for our food. We pulled in at 6:20, and didn’t leave until 8pm

We wandered in here for some good BBQ, what we got was a wonderful evening of entertainment and GREAT BBQ! There was a 2 person band playing, covering songs from Pattsy Kline, Charlie Daniels, and more. The food was some of the best slow smoked meat I’ve ever had!! If you are anywhere near this place on a Saturday it would be a crime not to come by for some great bbq, wonderful music, and celebration with your neighbors! 5 stars all the way!

Love the new expanded menu options and the staff is always friendly and great. Shell Knob is lucky to have a restaurant that cares and listens to their customers’ feedback and keeps making tweaks to better serve the community and its visitors with good food and drinks.
