Banana pudding was as good as any I’ve ever had. Hamburger steak was great. Cole slaw was wonderful. Fried okra was excellent and cooked to order. Texas toast was the best ever. Chicken fingers were great and cooked to order. Baked beans were good and the Tea was excellent. After you order, it takes some time to get your food, so prepare yourself for that. The server was friendly and checked on us several times. We had fried green tomato twists for an appetizer and they were great. We spent $45 for two. Definitely recommend if you’re ever in Brierfield! Or take a road trip like we did ❤️.

It was less than average, drove from Pinson recommended by my husbands Aunt. She drove from Chelsea. First impression, as much as she hyped it up I thought the building looked really small. It’s rurally located in Brierwood and upon entering I thought it may be a gem. I mean it wasn’t even costume jewelry IMO. Got our order pretty quickly , they were packed. Food was cold, the cheese on my “boon fries” was slightly melted, I was really hungry but it was okay. The Aunt said her greens and black eye peas were cold and they came in a tiny little bowl. Actually same size bowl the waitress brought for the lemons for our sweet tea (textbook southern sweet tea with extra extra diabetes). T doubt there was more

Amazing experience! This was our first visit to Boondocks but will certainly not be our last. We arrived shortly before noon on Saturday. There were several open tables. By the end of our meal, people were waiting to be seated. This food is top notch!
We started with an appetizer of Twisted Fried Green Tomatoes. These are thinly sliced green tomato spirals that are battered in cornmeal and deep fried. Served with Ranch Dressing dipping sauce. This was a delightful twist on a southern favorite!
Meals were Boom Boom Fries (fries topped with pulled pork, bbq sauce, shredded cheese and jalapeños. Half Hot Hamburger which is a substantial burger patty topped with cheese, grilled onions and gravy on half of a hamburger bun. Served with one side (fried okra was the choice). And a Rib Plate which was a generous portion of bbq ribs served with two sides… (choice was baked beans and slaw).
Everything was delicious. It is rare to find a meal such as this where everything was spot on, but that was the case here! Food was freshly prepared, service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. We look forward to our next trip soon!

me and my fiancé eat here for our valentines dinner and it was so good! they even had a Valentines dessert on the menu, which was also really good! Food came out really fast. very welcoming and friendly, would definitely eat here again!!

Their takeout is amazing! The bacon cheeseburger I ordered was the best I’ve had in a long time. Crispy bacon, simply seasoned and perfectly cooked burger patty, nice fresh toppings, and minus the mayo. Just like I asked. The tater tots and fried pickles were really good too. My husband had the Boondock’s fries and will definitely be ordering them again.

Found this place by driving by and what a hidden gem! We started with the fried green tomato’s and that had a spicy homemade dipping sauce that complemented the perfectly fried tomatoes. The brisket and pulled pork were cooked to perfection. Smokey flavor and very juicy. Potato salad, BBQ beans and coleslaw are all excellent and taste like homemade. We finished our lunch with a yummy peach cobbler. And the decor is warm and inviting. We will stop in if we are ever within 50 miles of this place again. And the service was a 10 out of 10.
