I sat at the bar last night, and the bartenders Bailey and Makayla gave me excellent service! Very friendly, and knowledgeable. Food was very yummy, karaoke was fun too. Definitely somewhere i’d recommend to visit!

Nice little spot about a block or two away from the lake on the main road. I think it was all women behind the bar and in the grill; I don’t remember seeing any guys. The quesadillas were delicious and the drinks were strong. I think they had an outdoor seating area out back, but I didn’t look; I just saw people walking in and out of the back door. They advertised live music every Friday, but I was there on a Sunday. Would recommend stopping by if you’re in Possum Kingdom area.

We had such a great experience on our first visit to Boondocks! Honestly, we came here as a backup to our original plan, but we’re so glad we did. This was our family’s first trip to PK, and we’ve already decided it’s going to be an annual tradition—Boondocks will definitely be a repeat stop for us.
Eric was our server and he was fantastic! He greeted us right away, kept our drinks and food orders on point, and checked on us regularly. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
I also had no idea Boondocks had an endless salad bar, which was a huge win for me! The whole atmosphere felt local, welcoming, clean, and friendly. We couldn’t say enough great things about our visit.

DO NOT GO!! This place took absolutely forever to get our drinks or food. Over 2 hours after placing our food order and it wasn’t that crowded. And no apologies, could have cared less. Lots of kids tired and hungry after a fun day on the lake and it was a huge disappointment to end the day.
