This Thai restaurant is an amazing spot for AYCE BBQ AND hotpot. Located in Flushing, it is a bit far from the city, but if you’re in the area, I highly recommend. Everything here is self-serve but the staff is super attentive with water and quick with drinks and changing grills.
They have a good variety of meats, fresh veggies, and a hot bar here (with a diverse array of Thai hot foods, such as pad kra pao, tom yum, and fried foods). I loved their hot bar and everything was pretty good quality. I got multiple bowls of their tom yum as it was full of mushroom and shrimps, which I loved. Their wide selection of meats and seafood was great. While I did feel that some meat quality was so-so, everything was (overall) pretty solid. They also have a dessert section at the end where you can get shaved ice and smores (for your grill). Great meals and I had such a good time!

We’d been wanting to try Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta Thai BBQ for a while, and finally went for lunch the other day. There are a lot of food options — a salad/veggie section, a raw meat area, and a cooked food section. The staff were super nice and kept changing the grill pan really frequently, which we appreciated. The setup is mainly Thai BBQ, but there’s also broth around the grill so you can do hotpot at the same time.
Most of the food was pretty good, but we did notice that some cuts of meat weren’t the best quality and got really tough once grilled. Not a huge deal, just something to keep in mind. When we were about to leave, the staff told us there was a dessert section we totally missed. We ended up trying the Thai shaved ice, and you can adjust the sweetness yourself, which was fun.
Overall, it was a nice experience — lots of choices, friendly service, and worth trying if you’re into Thai-style BBQ.

Boon Dee BBQ is such a fun and delicious Thai BBQ and hot pot experience. The $40 all-you-can-eat option is definitely worth it, with endless meats, noodles, appetizers, and dessert. I love that you can grab your own food so there’s no waiting and no pressure.
The hot pot comes with a flavorful chicken broth where you can even make ramen while your BBQ cooks. Service was friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Everything tasted fresh, and the appetizer station had great options like wings and crab rangoon. I highly recommend this spot for a casual night out with friends or anyone who loves to eat well!

Came here on the last day of the year and it was a great experience. Boon had great food options, especially the beef selections and the appetizers. They were diligent in their service and the atmosphere is amazing. Thai ice tea was well made. The dessert, shaved ice was the go to food to try. Will come again. There is public parking outside which is convenient.

ขอบคุณมาก! Can we just say how amazing this place is???!!!! Is like a hide gem! I’m coming here every time as possible! The staff is just so friendly checking on your table every few minutes making sure you having the best food experience ever! That was the top of the cake, love the crew service! The quality of all the food is amazing, the meat section is like VIP, all the sauces are just different and perfect for any type of preference! We eat so much that we didn’t even have room for deser, but I’m definitely coming to have the whole banquet! The meat Quality is very good. I very enjoying having dinner with my friends here. There’s so much variety of meat selection and dipping sauce which is the selling point. I’m originally from Thailand so this is a comfort place for me.
