My fam and I stopped in for lunch and we were able to find a table/booth no problem. The atmosphere is cool and fits Lakewoods hip artistic style. The food was hot and delicious. We got a split Hot Stuff & Pepp and the LTO; B’s Spicy Chicken Bacon Surprise, and we were pleasantly surprised!! We tried all the dips they had and the flavors are on point. The Ricotta jam dip was layered with a creamy smooth texture. The Chili Crisp Garlic was my favorite. They have a beverage cooler with quite a few unique beverages and their own cocktails that are pretty yummy to boot. I do suggest this sweet spot in the heart of Lakewood to all new or old to the area!

The pizza was an A+ their pizza. I tried the pickolas cage and pepperoni pizza. If you like a lot of curst too bad. The crust, cheese and sauce and toppings are all a perfect ratio. The drink selection is so huge. Honestly some of the best pizza in a while. Service was also fast and amazing too.

One of my favorite pizza shops, The cheesy garlic is our absolute favorite, Second to that would be the hot stuff and pep! They have a few new Dips, Which are plant base friendly and worth checking out! Great wines and craft brews! All around it’s a great place and always a great atmosphere! The pizza is always 10 out of 10. Cooked in a clean kitchen well made with love, Right in front of you!

This was a bizarre experience for us. I ordered a vegan pizza and they didn’t add any sauce!!! It’s just bread with cheese and toppings . They weren’t even busy so not sure if call orders were busy. Anyhow. I took the pizza to go because we are on a road trip and Their phone line isn’t taking any calls. I was really excited for this pizza and disappointed that it had no sauce.

We were in town for a couple of days and felt like pizza. Boom’s was recommended by a bartender at a downtown brewery, so we made the short trip out to Lakeview. The two of us split a pizza, half margherita, half pepperoni. The young woman behind the counter gifted us a garlic and basil dipping sauce, telling us that it comes highly recommended, too! We tasted it and it was very strong and very good, but when the pizza arrived, we discovered that the flavor was so robust that the dipping sauce would’ve been too much. The red sauce at Boom’s is really unique and flavorful. The pizza was a bit sloppy wet; that’s probably because they drizzle garlic oil on the margherita. We each ate most of our three pieces but it was a struggle! We just didn’t want to throw any away and we didn’t want to take leftovers back to our Airbnb. Great vibe, friendly staff, and good pizza.

The pizza is really good but we have only been here once as the pricing is just nuts. This isn’t NYC. 12$ for a basic garden salad is insane, perhaps they could offer a smaller one at a better price point. Nearly 30$ for a pizza is just ridiculous. The whipped ricotta was good but again for the price they should really give you more than 6 crackers. We may get again sometime but there are lots of cheaper options in the area that are just as good.

My wife and I were excited for another local pizza place in Lakewood to eat at. Since it was always packed, we expected great food and service. Here is what the dining experience is like:
1) You order at the counter and pay. It gives you tip suggestions right there, even before you’ve gotten your food or any service. I tipped the standard 20%, expecting good service at least.
2) You are then told to get your own tray, plates, silverware, napkins, glasses, and drinks and take them to your table.
3) Someone delivers your food to your table, and you eat.
4) When you are done, you and your party are responsible for bussing your table. You have to put your dirty dishes, silverware, and glasses in a dish tub in the middle of the restaurant, and throwing out your trash.
My issue is this: what did I give you a 20% tip for? Just making our pizza? Tips are for the service you get, i.e. delivering dishes, food, refilling drinks, bussing the table, etc. If you are expecting your customers to do all the work, it’s outrageous of you to recommend they give a tip at all.
The pizza quality and taste was below average to average at best. Certainly not good enough to make a regular visit. The fact we also have to do most of the waiter work ourselves makes Boom’s a “Never eating there again” rating for me and my family.
If you want people to not feel like you’re fleecing them with the recommendation of a tip when they order, put up a sign at the register that specifically states that customers are responsible for getting their own dishware, drinks, and for bussing their own table. Then people can make a more informed judgement on how much, if any, to tip.

We celebrated Father’s Day for my husband and it was quiet when we went in. No one is in here which is great because you get your pizza without waiting too long. We love their OG Pepp pizza. The crust is amazing and the service is amazing. Their Cocktails are just . My fave is the Basil Marg and my husband likes the Sangria. They both pair well with the pizza. I chewed up a piece of pizza for the baby and he liked it too.
Best Pizza Place In Cleveland!!! If anyone says there is nothing in Ohio. They never been to Cleveland and tried Boom’s Pizza. We went to Van Aken location and here. We will definitely be making Boom’s in Lakewood our go to. Imagine a date night with a $20 pizza and two drinks. Under $40. Very affordable. Very delicious.

This is the second time we’ve got Booms – we loved it so much the first time. My partner is gluten free and we were so stoked with their gluten free pizza. We got it tonight as a treat and they at first told us they accidentally messed up one of our pizza’s slightly (no biggie) and gave us a coin. However we were really disappointed that the gluten free pizza is completely stale somehow? It is nothing at all like the last one. It tastes like it was made and preheated, none of the toppings seem fresh, no melty cheese, we ordered onion and hardly any onion was on it, etc… just really bummed since we enjoyed it on our first time and it’s pricey.

Counter service style restaurant, lots of yummy choices. I absolutely loved both garlic dips for the pizza. We enjoyed a meat head pizza and a pepperoni. The slices are huge. It was a bit pricey in my opinion. They have lots of vegan options if that’s your thing. Service was very friendly.
